So first the news, it's been a real groundbreaker and you probably already know it but someone has made a Leak on Twitter sharing a lot of unpublished content about the new installment of what is one of the most anticipated games of the moment, has published images as well as gameplays model of what appears to be the game in Pre-Alpha state, which are usually very early stages where only the mechanics and code of the game are being tested, hence all the criticism about the state of the graphics and many people crying about why the modeling looked so Shitty, it was also speculated that the game would take place in Vice City, the city known for already starring a delivery, the thing could stay in an anecdote or better yet in many people doubting about the veracity of all this material, after all we have an infinity of mods that can simulate Vice City and there are even versions that replicate the whole story of that game with the graphics and mechanics of GTA V.

But finally a few hours ago Rockstar itself has come out with a statement saying that they were disappointed by this leak and that although the images and videos of the game are real belong to an early build of the game, in particular it speaks of 2019 when it was speculated that the development of this game was beginning, so these leaks must be completely different today, much more refined and with a finish much more in line with what we have been seeing Rockstar in recent years, although it has left some details to start speculating about what is the campaign and some new mechanics and locations.
All these leaks also confirm what other portals had been predicting for some years, specifically Bloomberg had made a report where they said that at least one of the protagonists of this installment would be a latina woman, since then the community has been speculating with many possibilities and although recent leaks of the game do not show a detailed face in the characters if it seems to have found the main protagonist of this installment from some tweets and some summaries that were also leaked a couple of months ago.

All this news of the leaks are on the one hand shocking because apparently it could be a serious hacking at Rockstar where it is rumored that even the source code of both this new release and GTA V Online were stolen from some of the computers of their workers, and although this is somewhat difficult to believe I think there is another hypothesis a little more likely product of telework and all this culture that is forming where the workers of the studios, especially video games have all an area of online communication such as a room in discord to support each other, this is not new because in studios as big as rockstar it is normal that there are numerous working groups outside the office and even in this case outside the country in different locations throughout the world, In these areas of communication is more than likely to pass sensitive information such as gameplays, images and even code so some hacker must have entered these rooms and get the more than 100 files that have been leaked to the public.

I can't wait for what's coming, while it's a shame that the studio has to deal with these hacks I think the hype for this installment is at an all time high with everything that's going on, there's a lot of unconfirmed details but this is a good teaser for those who love this franchise.
