Stumble Guys has been one of those video games that, after the acquisition of a new developer company, has become a treasure trove of surprises. Update after update, Stumble has proven to have that spark that gamers need to have fun and forget something of the bitter real life. This season's theme alludes to the Looney Tunes. There are new maps, team play modes and a new format to create private rooms and play with friends. For this occasion, I only tried the available events: a good way to remember what I had already forgotten after such a long time without playing.

Stumble Guys ha sido uno de esos videojuegos que, tras la adquisición de una nueva empresa desarrolladora, ha ido convirtiéndose en todo un tesoro de sorpresas. Actualización tras actualización, Stumble ha demostrado tener esa chispa que los gamers necesitan, para divertirse y olvidar algo de la amarga vida real. En esta temporada la temática tiene alusión a los Looney Tunes. Hay mapas nuevos, modalidades de juego en equipo y un nuevo formato para crear salas privadas y jugar con amigos. Para esta ocasión, solo probé los eventos disponibles: una buena forma de recordar lo que ya había olvidado después de tanto tiempo sin jugar.
The first event I played was "Legend of the Dragon". I thought that in this mode I was going to encounter fiery lava and dozens of traps on a rocky platform. However, the map assigned to me and the other players was "Rush Hour Legendary", something quite different from what I had originally thought. To win I had to avoid falling; to achieve this, I had to jump between floating cubicles. Players can now push, so I tried to stay away from the cubicles where the opponents conglomerated the most. Some of them chased me on purpose to throw me into the void, but they didn't succeed.
Luckily, I made it to the second round.
Legend of the Dragon", according to what I saw, is an event in which the map is repeated three times in a row. The number of players decreases until there is only one player left, who represents the winner of the game. Unfortunately, I was eliminated in the second round. While trying to jump to another cubicle, I mistakenly jumped twice and crashed into the void. It was sad, :-(.

El primer evento que jugué fue "Legend of the Dragon". Pensé que en esta modalidad me iba a encontrar con lava ardiente y decenas de trampas en una plataforma rocosa. No obstante, el mapa que me asignaron a mí y al resto de jugadores fue "Rush Hour Legendary", algo bastante diferente a lo que originalmente había pensado yo. Para ganar tenía que evitar caerme; para lograrlo, tuve que saltar entre cubículos flotantes. Los jugadores ahora pueden empujar, por lo que traté de alejarme de los cubículos donde más se conglomeraban los rivales. Algunos me perseguían a propósito para lanzarme la vacío, pero no lograron.Por suerte, pasé a la segunda ronda.
"Legend of the Dragon", según lo que vi, es un evento en el que el mapa se repite tres veces seguidas. El número de jugadores va disminuyendo hasta que solo quede uno, que representa al ganador de la partida. Lamentablemente, fui eliminado en la segunda ronda. Al intentar saltar a otro cubículo, por error salté dos veces y me estrellé contra el vacío. Fue triste, :-(.

The second event I played was "Duel", in this one, unlike "Legend of the Dragon", there was only one round and a total of two players. I was up against someone with a Bugs Bunny backpack, and I think he was supposed to beat me. The map we were assigned was "Laser Dash." We had to dodge obstacles and moving lasers. It was no easy task for me, but I couldn't afford to lose a second time. My opponent seemed to do it with ease. At one point my internet connection became slow and I thought I would be eliminated, but luckily I was still alive in the game.
In an instant the lasers started appearing more frequently. For me, Laser Dash is one of the most difficult maps in Stmble Guys. However, this time I managed to win. My opponent got careless and got caught by a laser, so I ended up taking the trophy. Hahaha.

El segundo evento que jugué fue "Duel", en este, a diferencia de "Legend of the Dragon", solo había una ronda y un total de dos jugadores. Me tocó enfrentar a alguien con una mochila de Bugs Bunny, y creo que este suponía que iba a ganarme. El mapa que nos asignaron fue "Laser Dash". Teníamos que esquivar obstáculos y láseres en movimiento. Para mí no fue una tarea fácil, pero no podía permitirme perder por segunda vez. Mi rival parecía hacerlo con facilidad. En un momento mi conexión a internet se volvió lenta y pensé que me eliminarían, pero por suerte, seguí vivo en la partida.En un instante los láseres comenzaron a aparecer con más frecuencia. Para mí, Laser Dash es uno de los mapas más difíciles de Stmble Guys. No obstante, esta vez logré ganar. Mi rival se descuidó y lo atrapó un láser, por lo que yo terminé llevándome el trofeo. Jajaja.

The third and last event I played was "Time Trial". For this occasion, the map was very different. This game was closer to the classic Stumble Guys essence, with a much higher degree of difficulty. To qualify to the next round I had to race to the finish line, but the road was filled with many traps and cliffs. The part I hated the most was where the tornadoes appeared. You had to jump on these to get to the higher platforms. I almost always fell off, so I couldn't make much progress.
I wasted a lot of time trying to get around these tornadoes, and because of this I didn't make it to the goal. I was eliminated and thus lost the game. I must admit that it was quite difficult.

El tercer y último evento que jugué fue "Time Trial". Para esta ocasión, el mapa fue muy diferente. Esta partida se acercó más a la esencia clásica de Stumble Guys, con un grado de dificultad mucho mayor. Para clasificar a la siguiente ronda debía correr hasta la meta, pero el camino estaba lleno de muchas trampas y precipicios. La parte que más odie fue en la que hicieron aparición los tornados. Había que saltar en estos para llegar a las plataformas más altas. Casi siempre me caí, así que no pude avanzar mucho.Perdí mucho tiempo intentando sortear estos tornados, y debido a esto no logré llegar a la meta. Fui eliminado y por ende perdí la partida. Debo admitir que fue bastante difícil.

I won one out of three games in total, so I didn't end up as bad as I thought at first. I need to keep practicing, as I hadn't played Stumble Guys for a long time and there are a lot of changes. Gané una de tres partidas en total, así que no terminé tan mal como pensé al principio. Debo seguir practicando, pues tenía mucho tiempo sin jugar Stumble Guys y hay muchos cambios. ¿Ya has probado estos nuevos eventos?
