Doing some more co-op in this classic Nintendo game, you can play as many icons such as Mario and many others. This time I am playing as Boo and @lovely.logic is playing as Yoshi. We set it to easy and just have a good time with the mini games. Setting it any higher the game can become quite tense and hard.. taking alot of the fun out of this casual game.
I am running this on an emulator so we can enjoy it from a PC and use the controllers we like. Dolphin gives alot of flexibility to these games bringing them places where you would have needed a console otherwise.
Starting off we roll dice blocks to pick who goes first.
The first mini game has us jumping for musical notes, the more we hit the more points we get. You can also jump on your opponents heads to slow them down.
Next up is a 2-vs-2 Mini-game. We are starting to fill in the rolls as with every ???? game we play it will show up in the future.
Thought I had this one in the bag but I lost, had to jump over a spinning bar though I did not time it very well.
We got access to a machine that turns orbs into money. Just have to make it to that space now.
Piling up many orbs its probably a good idea to sell some.
A mini game that you had to outrun a boulder and jump over obstacles in the way.
I won, woot! That minigame went on a lot longer than I expected.
Finally I get to the machine that turns orbs into money, got myself 20 coins for a few orbs.
With night time now in effect it changes the price of stars.
This mini game does not work well on emulation, could not get the vibration to come through. And we needed that to figure out where the treasure is below to pull up.
A very mario mini game with tubes, piranha plants and moles.
We tend to practice all the games, as sometimes it has been while or we completely forgot how to play.
Though a couple like the window washing always goes well and we seem to have a good system down of who goes up the ladder first and try not to block each other.
Woot we won!
Time to see who got the extra stars in the bonus round.
Had alot of fun playing this game, we won once again. Soon enough we will have played all the maps and mini games for Mario Party 6 and then time to try out a different one.
