Today I am sharing a video I made with @lovely.logic we sat down and recorded us talking as we played some of this Nintendo party game. I set up a microphone between us so we can discuss the game as we play it. Normally I do videos where its just the gameplay without any talking, so this is a first for my gaming channel. Looking forward to doing more co-op gaming with extra content in the future.
Its nice to have a game we can share the fun in. Maybe we will find some more but for now our goto game is the Mario Party series. And luckily there are many editions so much to try out eventually.
We start our first minigame where we have to find a way around these blocks.
Coming up on a reward spot we can pull the slot machine lever and see if we win. We did, 20 coins. These can be used to buy stars when we get to the spot on the map where they are for sale. Depending on if its night or day it can change their price.
Another mini game comes up called Garden Grab, those two others are ones we have not tried yet. Once we do they will start showing up on the screen instead of question marks.
Its pretty amazing how many games they stuff into the Mario Party series.
Some games are memory based, others require a little bit of luck. And a couple are purely skill.
Its always fun to see which ones we will be good or bad at.. Yall just never know.
Button mashing is sometimes whats needed.
We figure out where to go next, and pull up the minimap to find the best path. We may have enough coins to buy more stars. Though we already got 10 of them by this point.
In this game you drop a cage to trap as many of those things as possible.
Sometimes we get fancy dice blocks, which can slow down their speed making it easy to select the roll you want. Others increase the step count by doubling the dice.
We had to smash boulders in this mini game, jump back in the car and go down the road. Whoever got to the finish line first won.
Woo I won! I am playing as the ghost, and @lovely.logic is playing as Toad.
We get to the end of the game and they tally up the stars and rewards.
Yay, in the end we got enough stars and bonus stars to win.
Half of the rewards of this post will goto @lovely.logic
