Hey gamers on Hive,
Welcome to the blog of @southgamer, where I talk about everything game-related.
It has been two weeks since my last post on Hive about my gaming experience, and it feels strange that I need to be honest.
If I was told there would be a day where I would go two weeks with out gaming, I would have said hell no. But fast forward to this present day and now it has been 14 days and I did not hold a pad.
It is because of work. I travelled to another state for a product launch and I was opportuned to represent the brand. Well it was that simple for me. I am a designer and my help was needed in setting up the booth and conducting anything design related at the event. Even though I was not ready for quite a long trip, I told myself this would be a nice experience and a change of environment for me.
Although the product launch was a success but there is still room for some improvement in the aspect of planning that needs some work. And yeah our group coordinator was on his game while at the event. Attending to everyone and taking every problem, like it was personal and he must find a solution.
I did not drop much on Hive because of how busy I was planning and conducting the product launch. Most time, we would go first to the event hall, talk to a bunch of people who were event planners, and tell them our ideas and plans for the event. It was a shared experience for both side as these planners are expert and they know how to get the work do.
After a day's work, we move back to the hotel for a quick feedback meeting, and at the end of it, it is already evening. All that is left is to get food and take a goodnight sleep.
Here are some of the games I only got the opportunity to play while in the hotel or right before I fell asleep.
Clash of Clans
I continued with building my castle, and I am now a 41-player on the game. I carried out some raids for more gold and elixirs, and it was so much fun to see that my colleague on the trip with me also happens to be a fan of the game.
Lichess
Chess was my go-to game while at the airport waiting for my flight, and each time I try to be serious with the game, I always find myself losing badly, as if that isn't enough, I forgot about HiveChess. But now, I am back, and I will try to play more often than before.
This was a whole new experience for me because I didn't know I could go this long without talking about my gaming experience on my blog. Well, I guess I just found out. As gamers, it could be surprising when something else takes our attention more than we expected.
It is like how Elon tweeted in the past about how what he wanted as an adult is to make money and play video games, but now he has more money, but he does not have the time to play. That is what my fate has been these recent weeks.
At least let's make it to a 10 percent fraction of what Elon's net worth is and see if I won't game all day.
Thanks for reading, and see you in the next game. Southgamer is back.
I am @southgamer. Try gaming and thank me later.
