Hello Hivers and Game Lovers
Welcome to another post from my blog, where I talk about my gaming experience and anything game-related.
At work today, I decided to open up my X app since it has been more than three days since I checked my notifications. Lo and behold, I got a new follower called forky. Forky is a Hive enthusiast, a game lover, and from what I can tell in his bio, a developer as well. Or as his bio describes him:
I am the Darkside Fork of forykw. If you are on #HIVE, I might broadcast operations with id=follow and target you on JSON. Here, I will follow you!
@forkyishere also shared a tweet of his with me containing all the games on Hive. Fair enough, I have already checked out most and played the ones I find interesting.
Back to the game on the ground
There is something about this phenomenal feeling you get when you stumble upon some nice music that you love to listen to over and over again. It might not sound nice to everyone, but when you listen to it, it just sounds right in your ears. Obviously, everybody has their kind of genre, and I suspect that is why there are so many genres of music, rock, pop, classical, afro, and more.
This was my case when I continued my exploration of games on Hive, and I came across Rising Star. There is just this one song that keeps running in my head.
Honey, could you spare a dime? I'm going to be a star someday
Oh yes, I'm going to be big someday. And it keeps going on with the acoustic guitar playing in the background. It just keeps going on and on in my head, and I cannot stop remembering it. I even searched on YouTube, but I could not get it. If you know the actual title of the song, you could share it in the comments.
Rising Star is a play-to-earn game where you get to play a musician on their musical journey from humble beginnings to fame. Although the site looks poorly designed from a user standpoint, there is still room for a better interface that could be more engaging and focused on better colour combinations for the users. Rising star, you can give me a call, let's work on that.
I logged in with my Hive keychain and got cracking with the first mission of performing in an open side while trying to avoid the cops. What was weird about the mission was that it was a simple countdown of about 5 minutes and nothing else. Maybe I miss the main gist.
Oops!
Before I forget, you have to agree to their terms and conditions, something about using bots and VPN, and some other things I probably do not remember. Either way, in all the games' shortcomings in the aspect of design interface, they made up with their background music that plays when you log on to the site. And my jam, Spare a Dime, got me stuck on the site for a while listening to it play out.
Nice of you to stop by and see you in the next game.
