Hello there, you gamer,
Welcome to the blog of @southgamer, where I love to talk about my gaming experience and anything game-related. In today's episode of me playing games during my lunch break at work, I will talk about something new I tried out, simply out of curiosity.
As a Chelsea fan and a lover of football, one game I have recently found myself playing during lunch break at the office is Soccer Manager. I now play this game more often after Chelsea won PSG 3 0 to win the FIFA Club Cup last Sunday. All of a sudden, my enthusiasm for the game became more vibrant than before.

Yeah, you can say that I am the fella who likes to jump on something when there is a trend around it, and this time the trend is Chelsea becoming FIFA champions. So I opened up the game right after I placed a couple of new buildings in Clash of Clans.
While playing the Soccer Manager, my first match happened to be against Luton Town, an easy club for Chelsea to grab a win, at least that if what I thought. Unfortunately, the match ended in a 0-0 draw with not a single goal from any of the teams, and given my team's various attempts with Caicedo and even Nkunku, who was playing around the pitch, still there was no goal to show for it, and that is not quite impressive from the coach's standpoint.
This goes to prove that no team is a small team in the Premier League, and most especially in the game. Since Cole Palmer got the player of the match in the game against Paris St. German for his outstanding play, it only makes more sense that he is the most valuable player on my team with a price tag of 72 million dollars, followed by Moses Caicedo with a price tag of 50 million dollars.
While in an adventurous mode, I decided to move Cole Palmer to the Transfer List, just to see what the top clubs will offer and what the big clubs will come knocking on my door for my star player.
The first club that came knocking was no other than Tottenham's archenemy, Arsenal Football Club. They came in with a bid of 81 million dollars for Cole Palmer, which is 12 million dollars more than his net worth to the club.
WOW! That is quite low given what the player has achieved and how he will be a great fit into any squad that is lucky enough to have him. Immediately, I wasted no time and I turned down the offer, but the most shocking realization to me is what the remaining clubs were offering. Real Madrid were offering 48 million dollars and Manchester City were only offering 71 million dollars, and that is weigh below the player's value.
I believe since we are still in the negotiation stage of the deal, they are only coming in with their most ridiculous offer just to spice up the deal, and when they see I have no intention of selling unless they give me an outrageous amount, then they will become serious with their offers.
In other words, due to my coaching at Chelsea, I got an international job offer from Croatia to be their manager and get them to the semi-final of the European Championship at least. Let's see how that goes, as I will still come back to blog about that when the competition starts as well.
See you in the next game.
