Rebellion cards are just around the corner, and with the emergence of this new card set, the Untamed Card Set will be excluded from the Modern League Ranked Format. Along with the Untamed card set, some of my favorite summoners are in the Bronze League. In this post, I would like to discuss how the exclusion of Untamed summoners will bring a drastic change to how Modern League Ranked battles will be played, especially in the Bronze League.

Yodin Zaku is undoubtedly one of the most commonly used Untamed Summoners in the Bronze League. With its ability to add significant firepower to your lineup, this card will surely be missed. Do you think the Fire Element will become weaker in the upcoming change, or will Rebellion introduce a more powerful card than Yodin Zaku for the Fire Element?

While the Fire Element has Yodin Zaku, the Water Element has its card that can counter Yodin Zaku, Lirs Deepswimmer. I don't think this card will be missed that much because, aside from Lirs Deepswimmer, the Life element has Ilthain with the 'Return Fire' ability.

Mylor Crowling is one of my go-to cards when Earth is one of the available elements in battle. If one of the rulesets disallows the use of Magic attack monsters, it's even more reasonable to use this summoner. In the upcoming change, I hope that there will be a new summoner that can grant the 'Thorns' ability to allied monsters. On the contrary, it will be much less of a hassle for you if you are not a fan of this card, and your melee attackers will not be countered anymore. (Shoutout to Katrelba Gobson users out there!)

Ah, I will surely miss using the Llama-Kron and Llama-Grund combos in 17-mana cost battles and other low mana battles that involve Llama Scarred Mage. With the disappearance of this card, there will be less to consider regarding your opponent's choices in 17-mana cost battles. Additionally, this is the only card in Bronze League that has the 'Cleanse' ability in the Earth Element. So, if you're an Earth Element user and the ruleset is 'Noxious Fumes,' you'd better opt for other elements with the 'Cleanse' ability.

When the Earth Element is not available, or when I prefer to use the Life Element in low-mana battles, Lorna Shines' Divine Shield provides a significant advantage in battles. I usually pair this card with low-mana cost monsters with Sneak or Opportunity abilities. Will there be a new card in the Rebellion card set that can become a meta choice in the Life Element, or will the Life Element become less competitive after the next update?

If you find yourself annoyed by monsters or summoners with healing abilities, you can always turn to Mimosa Nightshade with its 'Affliction' ability. And this is good news for players who heavily rely on healing abilities, like Quora Toweshead. I believe that the Death Element or other elements may introduce new summoners that can debuff the opponent's healing abilities in the future

Lastly, the Byzantine Kitty. This card is heavily used in the Bronze League alongside Kralus and Agor Longtail. However, you'll need to say goodbye to these combos once Rebellion arrives. Players will undoubtedly be compelled to create a new meta for the Dragon Element.
The Rebellion Card Set will undoubtedly reshape the game's metas, particularly in Modern Ranked Battles. With Untamed summoners no longer in the mix, it might be a chance to place more emphasis on summoners that allow the use of Gladiator cards in ranked battles. With all these upcoming changes, one thing is certain: Splinterlands will become even more exciting and enjoyable to play.
