Cuando nos ponemos a pensar en ese personaje que representa a los videojuegos, se nos viene a la mente muchos candidatos, CJ es uno de ellos, es decir no solo es un gran personaje amado por todos sino que también ha impactado en otras comunidades que incluso no tienen nada que ver con los videojuegos, como comunidades de meme por ejemplo, CJ es un personaje que con tan solo verlo se nos viene a la mente la palabra videojuegos, pero este no es el máximo representante de los videojuegos.
Link es un personaje que si tienes el mínimo conocimiento acerca de los videojuegos, seguramente lo reconozcas, un personaje con un diseño característico y que tan solo ver su vestimenta, su pelo, su espada o su escudo, ya sabremos de quien se trata sin que se nos muestre mucho más, pero tampoco creo que este sea el representante de los videojuegos, muchas personas lo conocen pero también hay fans de los videojuegos que no han jugado por lo menos a uno de los juegos de donde pertenece este personaje, y yo me incluyo en esa lista, apenas jugué al Ocarina of Time y terminé abandonándolo, Link es un personaje super reconocible pero es muy difícil asociarle una personalidad muy desarrollada, o por lo menos para mi lo es.

Es demasiado improbable que alguien no sepa a estas alturas quien es Mario, es innegable el impacto que ha tenido en la industria del entretenimiento, un impacto que ha trascendido en generación tras generación y que desde el primer momento no ha perdido su esencia, incluso cuando solo era un pequeño puño de pixéles en la NES, Mario ha formado parte del mundo de los videojuegos de una manera tan bestial que es imposible no tenerle cariño incluso si no hemos jugado mucho a sus juegos, tanto así que muchas personas lo escogen antes que otros personajes en los videojuegos donde aparece solo por ser Mario.
