Ever since Axie has climbed the market cap rankings, play to earn has obviously been all the rage among the crypto space over the past couple of months. The hype train has catapulted games like Sandbox, Illuvium, MyNeighborAlice, and many others to new heights. The question now is what game is next and can you find it before it takes off?
Well hopefully I can answer that question for you. Blockmonsters is a play to earn game set to release its p2e engine this month with much, much more already in progress!
Blockmonsters is an upcoming game that involves the collecting and trading of 150 NFT creatures dubbed "Blockmon." It brings a much needed taste of nostalgia to the ever growing play to earn space. One of the many advantages it has over the many other games already out is that it will not only appeal to those in the crypto space but also those outside of it. Since only 1 Blockmon is needed to participate in the gameplay, the game offers a low entry price (about 10 USD for a starter pack, which includes one of three fire, water, or grass starters) that makes it easily accessible to anyone who wants to give it a shot, unlike some other games (yes we are looking at you Axie.)
The team has been constantly pushing out updates to the community while simultaneously maintaining the "mysteriousness" of discovery that everyone is looking for when they are trying to find a new game to play. They are active within the community telegram and discord (both listed below) and are always answering peoples questions or helping them with any minor issues they may encounter.
