After a long day of work I have arrived home with a lot of desire to bring something to my new blog. Who knows me knows that I like those old school games of yesteryear and what better way to start an adventure with a game of this type.
My time is very limited, I only have a few hours to play during the week. To take advantage of those hours and my blog, I have decided to start a soccer adventure in FIFA 08. Previously in my old blog I have shared several contents about FIFA 08 but this time it will be something different.
I have taken the task of creating a new club with the tools provided by the game, it is true that the resources to edit the shields and uniforms are quite limited, but even so it is something that is still quite entertaining for me.
For the shield I have chosen a standard symbol, simple and at the same time elegant, for the background color I chose white, I chose it because it is a color that I like a lot. To decide for the logo I spent a while, I had a little more than 10 options, but in the end I decided for the logo of Trébol and I attached to it a dark blue color.
Después de una jornada larga de trabajo he llegado a casa con muchas ganas de traer algo mi nuevo blog. Quien me conoce sabe que me gusta bastante aquellos juegos de antaño de la vieja escuela y que mejor manera que empezar una aventura con un juego de este tipo.
Mi tiempo es muy limitado, dispongo solo de unas cuantas horas para jugar en la semana. Para sacarle provecho a esas horas y a mi blog, he decidido empezar una aventura futbolística en FIFA 08. Anteriormente en mi antiguo blog llegue a compartir varios contenidos sobre FIFA 08 pero esta vez será algo diferente.
Me he tomado la tarea de crear un nuevo club con las herramientas que me aporta el juego, es verdad que los recursos para editar los escudos y los uniformes son bastante limitados, pero aun así es algo que aun resulta para mi bastante entretenido.
Para el escudo he escogido un símbolo estándar, sencillo y al mismo tiempo elegante, para el color de fondo escogí el blanco, lo escogí por que es un color que me gusta mucho. Para decidirme por el logo si pase un rato, tenia un poco más de 10 opciones, pero al final me decidí por el logo de Trébol y le adjunte al mismo un color azul oscuro.
As you can see in the image I have named the team F.C. Trébol. It is true that it is a rather simple name, but I wanted it that way because of the same logo I chose for the shield, in a few words, so that the shield and the name of the team look like something more familiar.
Como han podido ver en la imagen le he puesto como nombre al equipo F.C Trébol. Es verdad que es un nombre bastante simple, pero lo quise así por el mismo logo que escogí en el escudo, en pocas palabras para que el escudo y el nombre del equipo se vea como algo más familiar.
To edit the uniforms I was quite direct and as I want everything to match each other, I used the colors of the shield on the uniforms. For the home team's uniform I used the white color with not so thick blue lines, the numbers for this kit I made them visible both on the shirt and on the shorts, these numbers in dark blue.
Para editar los uniformes si fui bastante directo y como quiero que todo coincida entre si, he usado los colores del escudo en los uniformes. Para la uniformidad del equipo local he usado el color blanco líneas no tan gruesas de color azul, los dorsales para esta equipación los hice visibles tanto en la camisa como en el short, estos dorsales de color azul oscuro.
For the uniformity of the away team I only inverted the colors, being now the dark blue, the predominant color accompanied by white prints, the numbers for this equipment I also made them visible and all with a white color.
Para la uniformidad del equipo visitante solo invertí los colores, siendo ahora el azul oscuro, el color predominante acompañado de estampados de color blanco, los dorsales para esta equipación también los hice visible y todos con un color blanco.
Once I finished with the uniforms, I had to put the finishing touches which were to confirm the name, put an abbreviation to the name, designate a stadium and put a standard budget for the team. After this I had to do the most tedious part which was to put together the team with players, in this part I already had in mind what I wanted to do. I did not end up putting together the team with all the stars of that time, rather what I did was to focus on the young promises of FIFA 08, when we talk about young promises in soccer, it refers to all those fairly young players aged between 16 and 19 years old who have great potential. As in every FIFA game these players end up raising their level in each season to become star players with a high valuation.
I am not saying that this is going to be so easy to achieve, actually you have to dedicate time to the game for these players to reach that peak in their rating, I am going to try. I like this adventure I am about to start and I want to make the most of it.
Una vez que termine con los uniformes, me tocaba darle los últimos retoques los cuales eran confirmar el nombre, ponerle una abreviatura al nombre, designar un estadio y poner un presupuesto estándar al equipo. Después de esto me toco los más tedioso que fue armar el equipo con jugadores, en esta parte ya tenía en mente lo que quería hacer. El equipo no lo termine armando con todas las estrellas de aquella época, más bien lo que hice fue centrarme en las jóvenes promesas del FIFA 08, cuando se habla de jóvenes promesas en el futbol, se refiere a todos aquellos jugadores bastante jóvenes con edades comprendidas entre 16 y 19 años de edad que tienen un gran potencial. Como en todo juego de FIFA estos jugadores terminan subiendo su nivel en cada temporada hasta convertirse en jugadores estrellas con una alta valoración.
No digo que esto vaya ser tan fácil de lograr, en realidad hay que dedicarle tiempo al juego para que estos jugadores alcancen ese punto máximo en su valoración, de mi parte lo voy a intentar. Esta aventura que voy a iniciar me gusta y quiero sacarle el máximo provecho.
