Relaunching a classic brand
Tommy Tallarico made the announcement in May 2018 that he was launching a new Intellivision branded console. This would become the Intellivision Amico.
The idea behind the Intellivision Amico was to keep games easy to learn and play. This directive towards fun would be felt in the games announced. It did not stop there as the console's final design kept this in mind.
Intellivision Amico European distribution partner
Launching October 10th, 2020, the Intellivision Amico’s European launch has a new partner. Koch Media have secured the exclusive distribution rights to the new console.

This agreement covers distribution of the Intellivision Amico in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Specific release dates per country will be made available later.
