Hello gamers! How are you? I hope everyone is doing well. I've started playing Dragon Age Inquisition Years Edition plus its expansions and DLCs, since this version Epic gave away came with everything. So, I decided to download it. It's not that heavy, barely 60 GB, so once installed, I started playing and enjoying the game. Well, like any RPG, it has a lot going on, and I went for it quickly. I selected "Start Game" and that's it.
The first thing you need to do is select your race. I chose a QUN demon. Then we need to choose a class. I chose a mage, and finally, a style. This will basically be our character's configuration prior to the update.
Well, once you choose the character selection directly, you'll have to customize it however you want. The character editor has quite a few things, not just general processes, but you can also change each aspect separately—nose, eyes, mouth, forehead, and so on—so it can take a while to create a character. I played around with the editor for a while, not much. I don't really pay much attention to it, but I did move a few things around.
Once the character is finished and saved, the adventure begins. The whole story begins with an interdimensional passage through an energy rift that throws us into a world we know nothing about. In addition, we are captured by the Imperial Guard and learn that we have supposedly murdered everyone. In all of this, our character doesn't heal at all, so we'll basically have to do what these people say. This will help us try to understand what we're going through. Something I like about the game is that, despite the cinematics and the story presentation, so far, they're quite dynamic and don't get bogged down in a seemingly endless amount of dialogue.
Apparently, this interdimensional rift that's attacking the kingdom is connected to us by a wound on our hand. This wound, in turn, serves as a key to close these rifts. So, well, practically our first mission will focus on this, and learn a little more about the character's context and world.
We'll recruit other warriors who will apparently accompany us at the beginning of this journey. This will allow us to create new combinations between characters and help us enter the tactical view of attack to generate a different type of strategy.
As for the game itself, the graphics are exquisite, truly excellent, and it's very well optimized. It runs at 60 fps without any issues with everything set to ULTRA. It looks quite good, and so far the scenario I've seen has looked INCREDIBLE. I can't complain about the graphics, environment, and character design; everything is really neat. The gameplay is equally good; it's a classic role-playing game, with live combat with skill deployment, personification, and other familiar processes.
It's a game that captivated me for a while, which means I'll be playing it for a while. I've already been getting rid of other games I had installed, so let's see how it goes and I'll try to take advantage of everything the game comes with. As I mentioned above, the game comes with a lot of DLC, so I'll not only be able to enjoy the base game but everything else as well. If you've played this game or would like to play it, leave it in the comments section.
