Grund ein VR-Headset zu kaufen? Hitman 3 für Playstation VR veröffentlicht 😎
VR ist immer noch eine Nische und hat ein so genanntes Henne-Ei-Problem. Da nur so wenige User ein VR-Headset haben, zahlt es sich für die Studios kaum aus, Triple-A-Games für VR zu entwickeln. Aber ohne Blockbuster-Games verkauft sich VR wiederum nicht so gut.
Letzten Sommer hat aber io interactive angekündigt, die neue Hitman-Triologie in einer VR-Version für Playstation VR (PSVR) zu adaptieren und heute ist der Release-Tag.
Der nächste Hacken ist aber wiederum die Exklusivität und Markt-Segmentierung, da das VR-Game zunächst nur für die Playstation erscheint.
Noch unklar ist, ob die VR-Version zeitverzögert für den PC erscheinen wird, aber ich denke wahrscheinlich schon. Was denkt ihr?
Was sagt ihr dazu, dass es jetzt ein Hitman-Game in Virtual-Reality gibt? Bin gespannt, wie das umgesetzt ist, ohne motion-sick zu werden.

VR is still a niche and has a so-called chicken-and-egg problem. Since so few users have a VR headset, it hardly pays off for studios to develop triple A games for VR. But then again, without blockbuster games, VR doesn't sell as well.
Last summer, however, io interactive announced it would adapt the new Hitman trilogy in a VR version for Playstation VR (PSVR), and today is the release day.
The next drawback, however, is exclusivity and market segmentation now, as the VR game is initially released exclusively for Playstation VR.
It's still unclear if the VR version will ever be released for the PC, but I think it probably will after some time or won't it?
What do you think about Hitman in Virtual Reality? I'm curious to see how this is realized without becoming motion-sick.
