¿Cuál fue el primer juego online que jugué?
What was the first online game I played?
Han pasado unos 5 años creo, pero no me olvidó de ese momento, aún puedo recordarlo como si fuera ayer, era pequeña tenía alrededor de unos 10 años cuando tenía mis primeros encuentros con los juegos online. Todo empezó porque mi padre había creado un servidor de Minecraft para que pudiéramos jugar con él, al comienzo de todo éramos solo él y yo, luego se unió mi hermana, mi mamá y por último el primo de mi papá. Recuerdo también que cada vez que podíamos nos desvelamos jugando Minecraft mientras consumíamos grandes cantidades de dulces y refrescos. Todo era muy divertido y decidimos crear equipos. Mi equipó se conformaba por mi mamá y yo, teníamos una casa humilde de ladrillos un poco pequeña, teníamos también un pequeño jardín donde cosechábamos trigo, también teníamos como una clase de sótano donde habían cofres y en estos se guardaban los minerales y cosas de valor para evitar que nos robaran.
Mi papá, su primo y mi hermana eran un equipo, mi primo tenía una casa grande parecida a un templo, era de arena y arcilla naranja, mi papá tenía una casa de piedra, recuerdo que dijo que sería de piedra por qué era resistente a las explosiones pero yo siempre dudaba de eso, ya que su casa no se libraba de esas explosiones. Y mi hermana como era más pequeña y no sabía muy bien cómo hacer su casa solo hacia un cuadro grande... realmente grande de madera y siempre lo dejaba incompleto para irse a vivir con mi papá, era muy gracioso ya que nosotros decíamos que eso era el Arca de Noé inconclusa y no una casa XD.
It's been about 5 years I think, but I don't forget that moment, I can still remember it as if it was yesterday, I was little I was about 10 years old when I had my first encounters with online games. It all started because my dad had created a Minecraft server so we could play with him, at the beginning of it all it was just me and him, then my sister joined, my mom and finally my dad's cousin. I also remember that every chance we got we would stay up late playing Minecraft while consuming large amounts of candy and soda. It was all a lot of fun and we decided to create teams. My team consisted of my mom and me, we had a humble house of bricks a little small, we also had a small garden where we harvested wheat, we also had a kind of basement where there were chests and in these we kept the minerals and valuables to prevent us from being stolen.
My dad, his cousin and my sister were a team, my cousin had a big house similar to a temple, it was made of sand and orange clay, my dad had a stone house, I remember he said it would be made of stone because it was resistant to explosions but I always doubted that, since his house was not free from those explosions. And my sister as she was smaller and didn't know very well how to make her house just made a big picture.... really big made of wood and she always left it unfinished to go live with my dad, it was very funny because we used to say that it was the unfinished Noah's Ark and not a house XD.
Algo curioso de todo esto era que cada equipo (los únicos dos equipos que habían XD) tenían que tener una canción que lo representará como una especie de himno nacional y como si fuera poco también una bandera, éstas músicas debían sonar al principio de cada partida. Si mal no recuerdo la canción de mi equipo era Avicii - Lonely Together ft. Rita Ora, claramente me encantaba está canción al igual que a mí mamá, podría decir que aún me encanta.
Something curious about all this was that each team (the only two teams there were XD) had to have a song that represented them as a kind of national anthem and as if that wasn't enough also a flag, these musics had to be played at the beginning of each game. If I remember correctly my team's song was Avicii - Lonely Together ft. Rita Ora, clearly I loved this song as well as my mom, I could say that I still love it.
y la de el equipo de mi papá era Alan Walker - The Spectre, también me gustaba está canción pero como ellos la eligieron primero decidí escoger la otra.

Todo estaba yendo muy bien, teníamos casas más avanzadas, más minerales, criamos ganados, estábamos mejor equipados con armaduras de hierro, de todo un poco, pero resulta que poco después se fue desintegrando ese mundo. El primo de mi papá tuvo que irse del país y ésto lo obligo a ausentarse el juego. Luego mi madre dejó de jugar para atender algunas cosas, después mi papá tuvo mucho trabajo y no pudo jugar por varias semanas, y solo jugábamos mi hermana y yo. Ya no era tan divertido por lo que se había acabado ese lugar tan feliz y magnífico.
Me gustaría haber tenido una copia de seguridad del servidor para hacerlo revivir, pero es una pena que solo fue borrado.
Everything was going very well, we had more advanced houses, more minerals, we raised cattle, we were better equipped with iron armor, a little bit of everything, but it turns out that soon after that world was disintegrating. My father's cousin had to leave the country and this forced him to leave the game. Then my mother stopped playing to attend to some things, then my dad had a lot of work and could not play for several weeks, and only my sister and I played. It wasn't so much fun anymore, so that happy and magnificent place was over.
I wish I had had a backup of the server to revive it, but it's a shame it was just deleted.
Tiempo después conocí junto a mi hermana un juego online que hasta el sol de hoy sigo jugando llamado Roblox. Cuando conocí este juego recuerdo ser muy noob, lo cual no me gustaba por lo que me esforcé en mejorar, y hoy se podría decir casi con seguridad que soy una pro XD. La primera vez que conocí a alguien en internet fue gracias a este mismo juego, pero lamentablemente fue un dolor no haberme podido despedir de él adecuadamente ya que lo banearon de su cuenta y nunca pude saber más de él.
Some time later I met with my sister an online game that to this day I still play called Roblox. When I met this game I remember being very noob, which I didn't like so I made an effort to improve, and today you could almost certainly say that I'm a pro XD. The first time I met someone on the internet was thanks to this same game, but unfortunately it was a pain not being able to say goodbye to him properly as he was banned from his account and I could never hear from him again.
En fin, las lágrimas para otro momento gente. He conocido a muchas personas pero entre éstas están las más importantes, las que aún me acompañan a jugar Minecraft y Roblox, de hecho hicimos como una especie de grupo en Discord y un servidor súper bueno en Minecraft, que no fue fácil mantenerlo operativo ya que se crasheaba tenía problemas técnicos constantemente.
No me sorprende que se haya crasheado, debo admitirlo, ya que ellos solían ponerle muchos mods pero como eran algo rebeldes no paraban de seguir probando mods. Luego de eso dejamos de jugarlo, y un amigo nos avisó que tenía un server muy bonito, con grandes estructuras y bonitas esculturas ( todo era como muy de la mitología griega XD) y nos fuimos a probarlo.
Anyway, tears for another time people. I have met many people but among these are the most important, those who still accompany me to play Minecraft and Roblox, in fact we made a kind of group on Discord and a super good server in Minecraft, which was not easy to keep it operational because it was constantly crashing and had technical problems.
I'm not surprised that it crashed, I must admit, since they used to put a lot of mods on it but as they were a bit rebellious they kept trying mods. After that we stopped playing it, and a friend told us that they had a very nice server, with big structures and nice sculptures ( everything was like very Greek mythology XD) and we went to try it.
En el server de mi amigo nos divertíamos mucho, hacíamos roleplay de que mi amigo el creador de el server era un dios, si mal no recuerdo era el "dios Zeus", y como su server estaba lleno de esculturas y cosas mitológicas estaba bastante cool. Cosa que me da mucha gracia por qué todo lo hacía ver tan divertido y lleno de alegría, además de pasarnos un rato divertido matando monstruos. Luego de un tiempo este también se crasheo y se puso mal XD. Pero no falta mucho para que sea reparado.
In my friend's server we had a lot of fun, we roleplayed that my friend the creator of the server was a god, if I remember correctly it was the "god Zeus", and as his server was full of sculptures and mythological things it was pretty cool. Something that gives me a lot of fun because everything made it look so fun and full of joy, besides having a fun time killing monsters. After a while this one also crashed and got bad XD. But it won't be long before it will be repaired.

Aún sigo jugando Roblox y Minecraft, son juegos que simplemente no puedo dejar de jugar porque me gustan muchísimo, pero últimamente ya no juego tanto ya que en ocasiones me aburro de jugar roblox o de esperar a que mis amigos se conecten. A veces tengo mucho lag al jugar y eso es estresante y prefiero no hacerlo. Hasta hace poco recuerdo que cuando intentaba entrar en algún juego bien sea de roblox o algún servidor de Minecraft de algún otro amigo, me iba lento o solo me sacaba de la partida debido a mi conexión para nada buena. Estas cosas suelen pasar cuando vives en Venezuela XD.
I still keep playing Roblox and Minecraft, they are games that I just can't stop playing because I love them so much, but lately I don't play so much anymore because sometimes I get bored playing roblox or waiting for my friends to connect. Sometimes I have a lot of lag when playing and that is stressful and I prefer not to do it. Until recently I remember when I tried to log into a game either roblox or some other friend's Minecraft server, it would slow me down or just take me out of the game due to my connection not being good at all. These things usually happen when you live in Venezuela .
Y esto fue solo una pequeña parte de cuando entré en el mundo de los juegos online, me divertí mucho recordando cada momento y algún que otro detalle y cosas como estas no creo que pueda olvidarlas.

And this was just a small part of when I entered the world of online gaming, I had a lot of fun remembering every moment and some detail and things like this I don't think I can forget.
