Hello Hivegaming community, long time no see, I've been a little busy, I hope you are very well, today I want to talk about this game called “Witchfire”, I bought it some time ago, and the truth I really liked when I saw their first trailers and you can buy the Early Access via Epic Games, the price did not convince me much at first ($ 39.99 ...), I will not lie, but after waiting in time they lowered its price and was more accessible ($ 20). It's quite a promising game. It's a union of Doom, with a Souls like and with a great touch of dark fantasy. It is a demanding game, but will give you access to weapons, spells and other things, so that your “my good hunter” you get the potential you have, and you manage to finish all beast, undead monsters and of course witches that are on that island, staying in one place is not very good option, if you stay no less than a minute in that place and comes a wave of dead want to kill us, but well I will break down a little of this game in order and tell this entertaining experience.

Hola comunidad de Hivegaming, tiempo sin verlos, he estado algo ocupado, espero que estén muy bien, hoy quiero hablar de este juego llamado “Witchfire”, lo adquirí hace tiempo, y la verdad me gustó mucho cuando vi sus primero trailers y puedes adquirir el Acceso Anticipado por vía Epic Games, el precio no me convenció mucho en un principio (39,99$...), no les mentiré, pero luego de esperar en tiempo bajaron su precio y fue más accesible (20$). Es un juego bastante prometedor. Es una unión de Doom, con un Souls like y con un gran toque de fantasía oscura. Es un juego exigente, pero te darán acceso a armas, hechizos entre otras cosas, para que tu “mi buen cazador” saques el potencial que tienes, y logres acabar toda bestia, monstruos no muertos y por supuesto brujas que hay en esa isla, el quedarse en un solo sitio no es muy buena opción, si te quedas no menos de un minuto en dicho sitio ya viene una oleadas de muertos querernos matar, pero bueno voy desglosar un poco de este juego por orden y contar esta entretenida experiencia
The Astronauts is a team of twelve developers including Adrian Chmielarz, Michał Kosieradzki and Andrzej Poznański; the original co-founders of People Can Fly and veterans of the legendary Painkiller (My Favorite Childhood Game). He gave us several gameplay demos over time since 2017, I started watching these trailers in 2022, and it really grabbed me, it's not like any other shooter type game. The story of this game is a war that has the church against the witches, and apparently is being lost, but luckily there is an artifact that will change the course of the war for humanity to win, the detail that is in a land infested and controlled by witches. Only the Preyers with “Witchfire” blood can face the Witches and live to tell the tale and recover this artifact. We will be like a Van Helsing of the times, and we must embark on the adventure to take down the Witch of the Black Sea.

The Astronauts un equipo de doce desarrolladores entre los que se incluyen Adrian Chmielarz, Michał Kosieradzki y Andrzej Poznański; los cofundadores originales de People Can Fly y veteranos del legendario Painkiller (Mi juego Favorito de la infancia). Nos brindó varias demos de gameplays con el pasar del tiempo desde el 2017, yo empecé ver estos tráiler en el 2022, y me atrapo mucho, no es como cualquier otro juego tipo shooter. La historia de este juego es una guerra que tiene la iglesia contra las brujas, y al parecer se está perdiendo, pero por suerte existe un artefacto que cambiara el rumbo de la guerra para que la humanidad gane, el detalle que está en un tierras infestadas y controladas por brujas. Solo los Preyers con sangre de “Witchfire” pueden enfrentarse con las Brujas y vivir para contarlo y recuperar ese dicho artefacto. Seremos como un Van Helsing de los tiempos, y debemos embarcar la aventura para acabar con la bruja del Mar Negro.
When I started playing the game they give us the option to choose the type of Preyer or Hunter as you want to call it, and according to their stats, that's why I liked it a lot, why? Porque tienen 8 clases con distintas características y hechizos diferentes y cada uno de ellos tiene armas en específica, yo uso dos Preyers The Hunter y el Saint.

Ya cuando hayamos elegido todo lo queremos, tienen que comprender una cosa, esto fueron errores míos que por cierto traerán consecuencias malas mientras juegas, este juego es muy metódico, el sistema de juego o mejor la Bruja de la isla te pondrá pruebas para que bailes a su ritmo o a su forma pero debes tu buscar la forma de evadir o solucionar esos problemas porque si no lo haces pues comenzamos desde Cero. Otra cosa que también deben entender no mal gaste balas porque las que consigues con los enemigos son pocas, deben ser precisos con sus disparos.

En este portal nos llevara al sitio donde queremos cazar, pero por el momento solo hay 2 sitios que están disponible, pero aun así ambos sitios son muy amplios en cuanto moverte bien en batalla. También veras que saldrán la cantidad de elixires que podemos llevar, por el momento tu comienzas con un elixir, para obtener más espacio debemos subir mucho de nivel, y otro detalle debemos hacer nuestros propios elixires, debemos una hierba llamada “Angelica” para hacer nuestros elixires en nuestra abadía o refugio.

Cuando comencemos debemos abrir el mapa, una de las brujas de esta parte de la isla siempre pero siempre te marcaran con un cráneo y una cruz encima de ella, es ahí que debemos llegar, para acabar con ella. ¿Sencillo no? Pues… no del todo, el portal nos mandara en cada partida aleatoriamente en ciertos puntos en específico del mapa. El portal estarán activo por menos de 5 minutos, luego de allí debemos buscar otro portal para escapar que también estará aleatoriamente en el mapa. El juego es totalmente inmersivo, aleatorio con muchos eventos, pero lo bueno es que el villano del sitio siempre estará en un solo sitio.

En cuantos los hechizos que lanzamos para defendernos por los momentos son pocos, podemos lanzar meteoritos de fuegos, lanzar rayos, congelamiento, golpe aturdidor, invocar una campaña para aturdir los enemigos en área, al igual que invocar una especie de cruz que hace daño eléctrico continuo. Esperemos que podamos ver muchas más combinaciones a futuro, pero el momento descubrí son estos. Yo mayormente uso el poder de Invocar una especie de Domo tipo escudo de hielo a mí alrededor, aquellos enemigos que tocan mi domo se congelaran, y previene los que ataque a distancia de los enemigos y aparte los meteoritos de fuego, pueden lanzarse 2 veces el hechizos, para que se vuelvan activar dichos poderes debemos eliminar enemigos para que se baje el enfriamiento, mientras más enemigos elimines más rápido obtendrán tus poderes o hechizos.

Hay muchos eventos que nos llegara a pasar, una de ellas se le llama la horda de la Calamidad, donde cada evento u oleada, activaras una marcas que te saldrán arriba en la esquina izquierda en forma de ojos, cuando completen las 5, prepárate… te darán 2 opciones para terminar estos eventos. La primera acabar con un catalizador pero es difícil de encontrarlo y difícil de destruirlo, la segunda opción es acabar con ciertas hordas que nos aparecerán, desde fantasmas, Revenants, no muertos, hasta un barco fantasma volador que nos dispararan con sus cañones. Y la tercera opción, (es un clásico) es escapar hacia un portal si no se te sientes capacitado para combatir por cualquier causa.

Para mi poder desbloquear todo el arsenal, el acceso a algunos hechizos, aprender mis errores entre otras cosas me tomo casi 12 horas en total, es frustrante y agotador mentalmente, PERO es muy bueno, el juego te pedirá mucho de ti, nos molestaremos muchas veces, pero te queda esa sensación de volver a intentarlo. Cada paso que hagas, es una nueva experiencia, y debes saber que cuando nos elimina el enemigo todo lo que obtuvimos de “Witchfire” lo perdemos pero lo podemos recuperar otra vez, lo que debemos hacer es regresar en el sitio donde nos eliminaron y rezar que en ese sitio no haya un peligro aun peor que el anterior.
The beaches have multiple details such as shipwrecks and rocks, and abandoned villages full of witches minions make you have mixed feelings between wanting to find enemies and at the same time, not.
