Since I started my adventure in Padventures, an online game that pays tribute to the Pokémon universe with an endearing retro touch, I felt like I was traveling back in time to those unforgettable days of my childhood, those moments when I spent hours and hours playing after coming home from school, I remember very well that my parents were always scolding me for the reason that I spent a lot of time playing and little time doing my school activities, but I think that's something that every child does, because it is our time of just thinking about games, and that magic of innocence is what captivates us in every game, small details of our childhood that mark our life even as an adult.
I personally love that pixelated aesthetics and classic gameplay, because these are the details that manage to capture a nostalgia that, honestly, it is difficult to find in current video games, but this is where everything changes, because what really makes Padventures unique is its vibrant and active community, something that in my childhood I could not find, I have always been a fan of Pokémon, but I never found out about Padventures.
Every time I start a game, I find myself in an environment full of friendly battles to capture the strongest Pokémon and train it to the limit of its potential, or sometimes, our ego as a player, we just level up our Pokémons to show it off to our buddies. The battles between players are not only exciting, but also add that extra bit of challenge that has me hooked. And that's exactly why I'm here, writing this article. Desde que comencé mi aventura en Padventures, un juego en línea que rinde tributo al universo Pokémon con un entrañable toque retro, me sentí como si viajara en el tiempo a esos días inolvidables de mi infancia, esos momentos en los que me la pasaba horas y horas jugando luego de llegar del colegio, recuerdo muy bien que mis padres siempre me estaban regañando por el motivo de que pasaba mucho tiempo jugando y poco tiempo en hacer mis actividades escolares, pero creo que eso es algo que todo niño hace, pues es nuestra época de solo pensar en juegos, y esa magia de inocencia es la que nos cautiva en cada juego, pequeños detalles de nuestra infancia que marcan nuestra vida aun siendo adulto.
Yo en lo personal adoro esa estética pixelada y la jugabilidad clásica, pues son estos los detalles que logran captar una nostalgia que, sinceramente, es difícil encontrar en los videojuegos actuales, pero es acá donde todo cambia, pues lo que realmente hace único a Padventures es su comunidad vibrante y activa, algo que en mi infancia no logre encontrar, siempre he sido fanático de Pokémon, pero nunca me entere sobre Padventures.
Cada vez que inicio una partida, me encuentro en un ambiente lleno de batallas amistosas para capturar al Pokémon más fuerte y entrenarlo hasta llevarlo al límite de su potencial, o en ocasiones, nuestro ego como jugador, solo subimos de nivel nuestros Pokémons para presumirlo con nuestros compañeros. Las batallas entre jugadores no solo son emocionantes, sino que también añaden ese extra de desafío que me tiene enganchado. Y justo por eso estoy aquí, escribiendo este artículo. Other things that I love as I said at the beginning of this article, is the possibility of connecting with trainers from all over the world in an environment that balances the best of the classics with contemporary elements, for those who want to relive the magic of the original Pokémon games, but in a multiplayer dynamic, something we do not see in retro games like Pokémon Emerald, or Pokémon Fire Red, then I can assure you that Padventures will not disappoint you.
Aunque mi trayecto en Padventures apenas está comenzando, ya me he dejado atrapar por su arte encantador y la profundidad de su jugabilidad, pues aunque se ve como un simple juego retro, tiene muy buenas mecánicas de juego, y respeta muy bien las leyes de la física y ese es un toque extra, detalles simples como poder derretir la nieve con cada paso que da nuestro Pokémon de tipo fuego, o poder iluminar un lugar oscuro solo con la flama que emana de nuestro Pokémon tipo fuego, son detalles que me tienen fascinado de verdad.
Otra de las cosas que me encantan así como lo dije al inicio de este artículo, es la posibilidad de conectar con entrenadores de todo el mundo en un entorno que equilibra lo mejor de los clásicos con elementos contemporáneos, para quienes quieran revivir la magia de los juegos originales de Pokémon, pero en una dinámica multijugador, algo que no vemos en juegos retro como Pokémon Esmeralda, o Pokémon rojo fuego, entonces les puedo asegurar que Padventures no los va a decepcionar.

Unlike other titles, here each Pokémon caught feels like a small victory, especially if you manage to get a rare or high level one or even more if you manage to catch it on the first try, because I have to admit that it is not something easy to catch, it all depends on the Pokeballs you have or luck, the luck factor here has a lot of power, the battles against wild Pokémon are immersive, forcing you to think about each move, what kind of attack to use on each occasion, I really love that because in this game strategy and dedication count as much as luck.
And that's not all. Once you catch a Pokémon, the real challenge begins: training it. Although the system seems simple at first, you soon realize that choosing the right skills and dedicating time to level up can make the difference in important duels, you also have the option of not applying the evolutions, or you can apply them, but for that you have to have a certain amount of materials or elements, it is a very well weighted game not to get bored for years...
La magia de capturar y entrenar
Uno de los aspectos que más me ha enganchado es el proceso de captura, y en realidad es lo que más ilusión nos da, poder capturar un nuevo Pokémon y que tenga el poder suficiente para derrotar a los Pokémon salvajes y continuar con la aventura y la caza. A diferencia de otros títulos, aquí cada Pokémon atrapado se siente como una pequeña victoria, especialmente si logras conseguir uno raro o de gran nivel o más aún si logras atraparlo al primer intento, pues tengo que admitir que no es algo fácil de atrapar, todo depende de las Pokebolas que tengas o la suerte, el factor suerte acá tiene mucho poder, las batallas contra Pokémon salvajes son inmersivas, obligándote a pensar en cada movimiento, que tipo de ataque usar en cada ocasión, eso me encanta de verdad porque en este juego la estrategia y la dedicación cuentan tanto como la suerte.
Y eso no es todo, una vez que atrapas un Pokémon, empieza el verdadero desafío: entrenarlo, aunque el sistema parece sencillo al principio, pronto te das cuenta de que elegir las habilidades correctas y dedicar tiempo a subir de nivel puede marcar la diferencia en duelos importantes, también tiene la opción de no aplicar las evoluciones, o puedes aplicarlas, pero para eso tienes que tener cierta cantidad de materiales o elementos, es un juego muy bien pesando para no aburrirte por años…

Also, the events and tournaments that are organized regularly keep the game fresh and challenging, there is always something new to achieve, which motivates us to perfect skills and improve my Pokémon team constantly, right now we are in Christmas season so the server has some very flashy decorations and they are giving some gifts in specific connection hours or for culminating events, where you can earn points to redeem for things of this Christmas season.

El modo multijugador es otra de las joyas de Padventures, las batallas contra otros jugadores son intensas, pero lo mejor es la oportunidad de aprender de entrenadores experimentados o con mas horas de juego, en el caso de Mi Jefe de trabajo el cual fue el que me recomendó el juego, dice que jugaba esto desde hace unos 15 años, y de verdad me impresiona todo el tiempo en el que este juego ha permanecido activo, y por lo que veo la comunidad siempre está dispuesta a compartir consejos y estrategias, algo que me ha ayudado bastante como principiante, pues necesito de muchos consejos y cosas que no entiendo.
Además, los eventos y torneos que se organizan regularmente mantienen el juego fresco y desafiante, siempre hay algo nuevo que alcanzar, lo que nos motiva a perfeccionar habilidades y mejorar mi equipo Pokémon constantemente, en este momento estamos en temporada navideña así que el servidor tiene algunas decoraciones muy llamativas y están dando algunos regalos en horas de conexión específicas o por culminar eventos, donde puedes ganar puntos para canjear por cosas de esta temporada navideña.

Chimchar - Evolution
At the moment my initial focus is to evolve my Pokémon Chimchar, a fire type Pokémon which I liked a lot and was the base Pokémon I chose when I created my character, since you can choose three Pokémon at the beginning and with those you can explore and find new Pokémon, In my case, Chimchar's evolution is at level 40, and I really need very little to evolve it and turn it into a Monferno, which is the second phase, here I leave you a screenshot so you have a little clearer idea of what I'm explaining.

Por el momento mi enfoque inicial es evolucionar a mi Pokémon Chimchar, un Pokémon de tipo fuego el cual me ha gustado mucho y fue el Pokémon base que elegí al momento de crear mi personaje, ya que puedes elegir tres Pokémon al inicio y con esos explorar y encontrar nuevos Pokémon, en mi caso, la evolución de Chimchar se encuentra a nivel 40, y realmente necesito muy poco para evolucionarlo y convertirlo en un Monferno, que es la segunda fase, acá te dejo una captura para que tengas una idea un poco más clara de lo que te estoy explicando.
