Hello there! It's me, Mae!
I hope you all are doing well. It wasn’t an all-day date — just a quick one after a long, tiring day at school. The sun was already starting to set when we met. Since we go to different schools, syncing our schedules isn’t always easy, so any free time we get together feels extra special.
We decided to meet at the baywalk — simple, calm, and the perfect place to unwind. A lot of people head there around sunset, and I totally get why. The view is soothing, the breeze feels nice on your skin, and it somehow quiets all the noise in your head. We just needed a moment — a little time to breathe, talk, and just be.

Before settling down, we stopped by a small food stall to grab something to eat. We got two liters of bottled water (we’re both water lovers and not really into soda 😆), a box of Hawaiian pizza — my favorite — and a serving of fries with sour cream powder. Just enough to share while watching the sky turn orange and gold.
We found a quiet spot near the edge of the bay, away from the small crowds scattered along the path. The timing was perfect — not too busy, with just enough space to breathe. We sat down side by side, the pizza and fries between us, and started talking.

Just look at that thick-crust Hawaiian pizza — gooey cheese, juicy pineapples, savory ham, and drizzled with hot sauce. Pair it with hot, golden fries dusted in sour cream powder? Total comfort combo. Not exactly healthy, but it’s not like we eat this every day.
Our conversation wasn’t anything deep — just the usual stuff. How our classes went, little rants, random stories. Nothing grand, but it felt good. We don’t always get moments like this, so even just sitting there, talking without rushing, felt like a much-needed pause.

There was no pressure to make the moment perfect. It just was. We took a few goofy photos, shared a few laughs, and it all felt easy.
I’ve been trying to make the most of the time we have before he leaves for his OJT this month. Even though this is not the last date but I know we’ll still talk and still update each other. I wanted this day to be simple but meaningful. Something we could both carry with us in the weeks ahead.
As the sun dipped lower, we stayed for a bit longer — not saying much, just enjoying each other’s company. It’s in quiet moments like that when everything feels okay. Even if life gets hectic again tomorrow, we had that small pocket of peace today.

It wasn’t the kind of date you see in movies. But it was real, and that made it enough. A slice of pizza, some fries, the sound of waves, a peaceful view, and someone who feels like home. Honestly, that’s all I needed.
Hoping to see you all again! Bye bye!❤️
