Greetings everyone
How are you Hive Community wherever you are, hope you are all well. Thank you Eating Out Community by @shawnnft as manager.
The train journey from Tugu Yogyakarta station to Bandung station takes about seven hours. Tickets have been booked well in advance, using the Lodaya night train departing at 8 pm.
I arrived at Tugu Yogyakarta station around 6.30 pm, plenty of time to wait, I used the time to have dinner inside the station. Loko cafe one of the places to eat inside the station.
Yogyakarta Tugu railway station was built during the Dutch Colonial era around 1887. Loko cafe has been around since 2014, offering Indonesian cuisine. Loko cafe, derived from the word Lokomotive,is a cafe that's perfect for those looking for drink and typical Indonesian railway food.
It's a great to hang out for train ticket holders waiting for their train to departure. Inside the loko cafe, it was quite crowded and they were waiting for the train to departure.
Opening the menu, I Saw Legendary dishes such as Parahyangan legend fried rice, javanese loko fried rice, beef sei fried rice, bima fried duck and other menu options.
I told the waiter to choose the Javanese loko fried rice and drink hot plain tea. Waiting for about 15 minutes, the menu I ordered arrived. A serving of fried rice, topped with a fried egg, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers slices, lettuce and crackers. The fried rice is Made with a picture of sliced and a little sweet soy sauce.
How much did I pay for the menu I ordered, one portion of Javanese loko fried rice was 42.000,- IDR or around ($2,59) and hot plain tea was 15.000,- IDR or ($0,92). So the total I paid was 57.000,- around ($3,51) quite affordable.
Thank you very much.
