Another week in which the gardener is present, even if it is for an hour or two, besides the usual, watering the plants that need water more often, but there is always something even if it is small to attend to, giving a round to our plants and observe them carefully is a way to find out if everything is going well or if there is something to attend to.
As you may remember last week I shared with you a post in which I shared my joy, since the branch I planted of the colorful cretonne survived, so I transplanted it to a pot, there I also told you that I saw something white on its stem and that this made me some noise.
Now, those little white things turned out to be ant eggs on the stem and the lower part of the leaves of the cretona as you can see in the photo there are a few ants, the big question is what do I do? I know that ants can kill plants and I don't think they live only on the plant, it is likely that they have an anthill in the soil of the pot, what I don't know is whether to take the plant out again and get rid of the soil or if there is a way to get rid of the ants without having to re-submit the plant to a transplant.
On the other hand, I planted very close to the violet cretona, another one with corrugated leaves, that one was also in a provisional pot and also looked dry and with little space, so both will grow happily, in the roots of both I placed the remains of the avocados, this tree is dropping the avocados that are already at term, besides being so big and heavy, gravity does its thing.
As for the other cretonas that I planted some time ago, they are happy and look very lively in the gardens, I will take stems from them to plant in temporary pots and then replant them somewhere else.
On the other hand, the Calathea of my setup has another leaf on the way, I hope to see it intact because the previous one was attacked before leaving by Kirara, as for the mother-in-law's tongue that is also in the setup, it looks comfortable, likewise my vine is growing more and more that makes me happy, because as I said I want to cut and replant in another part of the pot so that it will have several branches. Likewise, my jade is recovering after the change of environment and the robado is growing well, although I must clean its leaves because some masonry work was done in the room where it is and its leaves are full of dust.

Una semana más en la que la jardinera está presente, aunque sea por una o dos horas, además de lo normal, de regar las plantas que necesiten agua de manera más seguida, pero siempre hay algo por más pequeño que sea por atender, dar una ronda a nuestras plantas y observarlas de manera detenida es una forma de descubrir si todo va bien o si hay alguna cosa por atender.
Como recordaran la semana pasada les compartí una publicación en la que le compartí mi alegría, ya que la rama que sembré de la cretona de colores sobrevivió, así que la trasplante a una maceta, allí también les comenté que veía algo blanco en su tallo y que esto me hacía algo de ruido.
Ahora bien, esas cositas blancas resultaron ser huevos de hormigas sobre el tallo y la parte baja de las hojas de la cretona como podrán ver en la foto hay unas cuantas hormigas, la gran pregunta es ¿Qué hago? Sé que las hormigas pueden acabar con las plantas y no creo que vivan solo sobre la planta, es probable que tengan un hormiguero en la tierra de la maceta, lo que no sé es si volver sacar la planta y deshacerme de la tierra o si hay alguna forma de salir de las hormigas sin tener que volver a someter a la planta a un trasplante.
Por otro lado, sembré muy cerca de la cretona de color violeta, otra de hojas corrugadas, esa también estaba en una maceta provisional y lucia también seca y con poco espacio, así las dos crecerán felices, en las raíces de ambas coloqué los restos aguacates partidos, este árbol está dejando caer los aguacates que ya están a término además de que al ser tan grandes y pesados, la gravedad hace lo suyo.
En cuanto a las otras cretonas que sembré hace ya un tiempo están felices y se les ve muy vivas en los jardines, de ellas sacaré tallos para sembrar en macetas provisionales y luego resembrar en alguna otra parte.
Por otra parte, la Calathea de mi setup trae otra hoja en camino, espero poder verla intacta porque la anterior fue atacada antes de salir por Kirara, en cuanto a la lengua de suegra que también está en el setup, se le ve cómoda, así mismo mi enredadera cada vez crece más eso me alegra, pues como comente deseo cortar y resembrar en otro parte de la maceta para que sean varias ramas las que tenga. Igualmente, mi jade se está recuperado luego del cambio de ambiente y el robado va creciendo bien, aunque debo limpiarle las hojas porque se realizó un trabajo de albañilería en la habitación en la que esta y sus hojas están llenas de polvo.
