Hello friends of the Jardín Colmena community! I hope you are having a good time, it is a pleasure to greet you and participate in this May Garden Diary Challenge. It is the first time that I participated in this challenge, so I wanted to introduce you to my mother-in-law's garden, who is one of the women who likes plants the most, adores them and has a huge garden, because she has a lot of land.

She lives in Caripe, which is one of the most suitable areas for growing all types of plants, the climate and soil are fruitful, imagine that they call it the garden of the East. My husband's mother's garden is a garden, there is a great variety of fruit plants and ornamental plants.

Today I want to show you some of the flowering plants that are planted there, it is a delight to take a walk there. There we can find a great variety of orchids, chrysanthemums, hydrangeas, there is also a spectacular variety of succulents, lilies, violets, flower of paradise, among many others.

The garden is not configured with landscaping, or anything like that, the plants are arranged in such a way that she looks out on the terrace and sees her plants and enjoys the views that they give with their colors and diversity, they give off peace and relaxation. , which is priceless.

For me, I go to visit her very rarely, because she lives very far from where I live. It seems like a dream garden to me and much more so when it is time for all the plants to be in bloom, the colors and shapes of them are so beautiful that One never gets tired of looking at and admiring them, and together they provide relaxation and peace.

The symbolism that I find in my mother-in-law's garden is an essence of a lot of love, affection and respect for nature, she alone strives to plant her little plants with so much love, that she is very good at them, the flowers as if they knew they had to reward her for so much effort and time invested in them. And the aroma of the plants... you can smell the freshness provided by that exuberant garden, located on the slopes of that mountain, because the garden is on a hill and it slopes and there it has been distributing the little plants, so so that she can walk among them and also to be able to attend to them.

The land is very fertile, but she enhances it with compost made from vegetable waste from her kitchen and has resulted in a rich soil, which supports the sprouting of seeds and the planting of her seedlings. In recent days the sun and the heat have been inclement, and many other pots with flowers have been affected, as in the case of the good mint herb, which, due to the extreme weather, dried out, that really gave me a lot of feeling, because this plant was one of the main characteristic smells of the garden. It is hard work that my dear mother-in-law does, keeping weeds clean, watering, cleaning, planting and replanting, it is very hard and she does everything by hand Well, there is almost no water and she saves rainwater in pipes and with that she works in her garden.

Thank you very much for your visit and it is a pleasure to receive your comments, thank you very much!
