Living in a tropical zone makes it easy for pests to reproduce, and even if I take care of the aphids, as soon as the summer hits, a fungus known as Powdery Mildew start to take hold.
My only solution is to constantly keep planting parsley seedlings in other to replace the ones taken over by fungus and aphids.
I plant the seedlings on a long vase and transplant them once they are strong enough.
If they have enough space to grow, they develop a lot faster and healthier.
I let small shoots of Rockweed (Pilea microphylla) cover the ground to protect it from intense sunlight.
Even with all the difficulties, I'm still able to bring parsley to my kitchen.
I've never seen them go to seed. I was hoping that I could keep one alive long enough to collect seeds or to see their flowers.
