Even though it's the middle of the month, here's something new in our garden this month. It's a bit of a late start, but it's never too late. I've cleared out all the vegetables in my garden. In fact, it looks like this lettuce will be gone after this post.
I'm quite looking forward to the good weather from June to August. It feels like a perfect month for planting, even though in many countries we experience extreme heat, even reaching very high temperatures, but not here. Extreme weather is often rare.
New chapter. That's all I can say, because all my neighbors have already harvested the water spinach. They're fighting over the slightly yellowing leaves, but because they were harvested early, they have a texture that's perfect for cooking, even just stir-fries.
I soaked the seeds last week, and they then broke open and sprouted, as seen in this photo. I'm watering the tops with water, in case the temperature rises during the day. So, they're holding on.
From the events of the previous chapter, I clearly remembered what happened in the Styrofoam box, so I cleaned all the boxes from scratch. I had just dumped all the water containing the hydroponic vegetable fertilizer on the many trees around the house. The same thing happened to several other plants that needed fertilizer.
Then, I also planned to replace the soil on the celery, which seemed to need replanting. I meant replacing the soil and checking the roots of the celery plant. However, I had already purchased a polybag filled with soil yesterday, but I didn't have time to do it. So, I'll do it after harvesting the lettuce this afternoon.
It's too much work this time, but it has to be done to ensure the sustainability of my garden. It's quite busy, but I prefer to consume everything natural from my garden.
In this day and age, we need to be at one with nature. We shouldn't rely on packaged foods, even though it's not easy. Buying organic food is much more expensive at the supermarket. I only have time for this, so I'll do it.

Call me Isdarmady, sometimes Mady, Putra or anything you want. I have a pretty long name but call me very nicely. There are many things I like, especially hydroponics and coffee, sometimes I also like traveling and eating whatever I want. Life should be like that, there must be many things you like so you can live well. Of course, what you want is a dream, so, when you have a dream then what you have to do is to achieve that dream, don't just let it be a dream.
There are many things I tell on my Blog, I hope you like it. Never hesitate to leave a comment, because your comments mean so much to keep me moving forward.
