When I plant something, for sure I can harvest it's fruits in the near future. It's one of the things that I loved to do and I'm gifted to have a green thumb which is responsible for growing those different kinds of plants. Another thing that I loved is that when I plant I can help the world to become more greener plus I can help the world to be free of waste especially plastics. I do it by recycling things that I see which can be useful in my garden.
I've been posting my garden adventures here and today I will again. I hope that by doing this, I can inspire you to do the same. So without further a do, let's plant.
I've shown that my chili seedlings grew already in my past blog if you remember it. They grew very healthy and didn't develop any kind of problems which is good for them to grow better when they are transplanted into their permanent pots.
Since I don't have pots or any spaces anymore here, I asked my grandmother if she have water containers left and surprisingly she have. She's been hiding it after being used to fetch drinkable water in our neighbor. I thought that she sell it already to the individuals who buy platstic containers here and other things that has price to be sold also in junkshops.
She have 10 containers left and last week, I began to plant the seedlings that are good to be transfered already. Some of my seedlings grew faster than I expected and their growth is not the same which makes them to be taller to others.
As usual I checked the organic soil first for any harmful aliens that can harm my chillies later on. In planting, it's better to prevent it in the beginning than to solve it if it's already infected or suffering from danger. So far the organic soil that we gathered is free from any aliens and it's good to go.
I did that one first as you can see in the photo and the other thing that I did was cutting the top part of the container. I decided before that I will do the same thing what the gardeners I watched in Youtube but decided not to since I don't have any string or rope to hang them. I used a knife to sliced the top and what's left are these.
The top of the containers will be use for other purposes so I will not throw it away.
I filled it with the organic soil atlast and I left some space for my chili. Anyway before I uprooted the seedlings I watered it first to lossen the soil. This way it can prevent any serious damage to it's roots. What I used to water them was the solution I made from the leaves of Madre Cacao. After how many days I can see the change in their growth already.
This is the first one that I planted last week and as you can see it's tall already and has a lot of leaves. For sure it will change even more in the coming days and the same will happen to the other chili.
Since there's no ideal place for my chillies, I bring them inside our house at night and I bring them outside at day for their sunlight exposure. I can't expose them in sunlight for whole day since the roots of my chillies didn't fully recover yet even if it's physical form is okay.
I bring them under the shade of the tree beside our house, just like this and there's my Manda who's playing hide and seek. hihi. It may take a little bit of effort and patience but it's okay. I'm looking forward to their growth.
Update on my bitter gourd that I planted in the plastic of milk the other month.
As you can see the bitter gourd is not that healthy and can die anytime but it seems that the organic soil plus the madre cacao extract did and amazing job in making it healthy. I put it in my malunggay tree and now it has a lot of leaves and shoots already.
More days to pass and I can harvest already it's leaves to be cook and partnered with sweet potatoes or with monggo seeds.
That's for today and thank you for reading.
Plant, plant and you'll survive.
