Hello Gardners,
How is everyone I hope we are all doing well today. It's rainy season in the Philippines and we are preparing for the possible typhoons that may enter during this time of the year. On the other hand, many of our friends also are in cold climates and are already busy preparing for the winter season.
In my garden this month I am still preparing some new seedlings for the new year but at this time for my contribution now to the monthly Garden Update, I will share with you my unexpected stop at the beautiful garden full of bougainvillea flowers.
Yesterday I came home straight from my night shift because it was my rest day and because I wasn't sleepy yet I thought I would go with hubby first because his coordinator asked him to visit the new mall that is being built in the neighboring town as part of his job and because of that we passed by again the simple garden of bougainvilleas flowers before and now it is very beautiful because they extended the place and the flowers now are fully bloomed.
This garden is located in a barangay called Balabagon about 6.1 Km from our barangay where we live but in the same town. At the moment this place does not have an official name because it seems that this garden is still expanding.
When we were on our way to our destination, the weather was fine, so I told hubby that when we return, we will stop by because I would love to take pictures. At that time when we are about to head home after we are done checking the place the weather was not good it was already drizzling but since we would not always have time to return to this location I continued with my plan.
Unfortunately, when we arrived, I was disappointed that there was no one in the front building to ask if we could enter to take a picture. However, it's a pity that we're already here so I didn't go in, I just did everything to take great pictures as I can outside and at the edge of the garden.
It's funny because while I was doing this, a neighbor of the owner passed by and said, "Ma'am, there's no one there, will you buy some plants?" I was smiling softly and just answered " No, I was just taking pictures because the place is beautiful".๐
During my tour I saw that they are still multiplying the bougainvilleas because they are planting a lot of new ones. There is also a large variegated rubber plant that, like me, they also marcotted to propagate more.
Right now I am not sure if these flowers are sold by the owner or if they are part of their vast garden. A few step of these flowers is the big house you can see on top of my photos. In front, there is a new building being built and around it is still under construction and the ground was not tidied up.
Lucky for the owner, the size of his land makes me jealous because I have some bougainvilleas plants at home but they don't bloom like this. I hope when I come back here again someone will be there so I can come in and ask some techniques on how to make the bougainvilleas bloom a lot.
Maybe there are some of you here who are experts in bougainvilleas to give some me some advice it would be appreciated.
That's all for now, all photos are taken by me. Thank you for dropping in and I will be posting more garden updates soon. Have a wonderful day and Happy Gardening.๐งก๐๐
