Greetings, Fellow HiveGardeners!
This be my next round of seeds that I brought undersoil.
Yesterday, after I was content with the progress I made with My Lvl 2 Archery Range, I got to some serious work. I had some land to till...well, I still got a lot of land to till but I could only spare this much time and I worked until I got tired, and then I used some of the ground that I cleared to spread some...
...in order of appearance:
Raddish.
Yeah. I know. I was surprised at how them radish seeds looked, too. I did not expect such nice miniature pebbles but that's what I found when I opened the pack. It might have become obvious to you that I was doing it for the first time.
This is the pack before the opening.
The Bulgarian name sounds like Repitchky. That's plural.
The name of the brand sounds like Opal Z and it opal means opal in Bulgarian, too. Like the mineral.
Next would be the parsley. Its local name sounds like Magdanoz and that's singular. Many a raddish but a bunch of parsley.
And the seeds look almost like those of carrots but they are a bit bulkier. Or not.
And speaking of carrots...
The local name sounds like Morkovy and that's plural. Florian rhymes with Dorian. Just saying.
This is the third pack I am opening this year. So far not much success with the first two, except for a small portion of one of them that I threw into pots on my urban (as in...not in this village but in the nearby town that I inhabit) balcony.
And last, and probably least, garlic. Its local name sounds like Chesun. It rhymes with Van Helsing and with Blade.
These specimens are a lot smaller than the ones I used for seed last week. But they came out of this same garden and I want to know what happens on Year Two. And hopefully Year Three, Year Four, and so on until my grandchildren start some huge intergalactic garlic export corporation.
Well, that would be it for today. Yesterday, actually. But today, too.
Peace and Parsley!
Yours,
Manol
