As I said last time, by the next report, the young pumpkins will be in the ground.
I'm making the most of this time. It's gotten a little colder, the temperature is up to thirty degrees Celsius
Ideal for both plants and work
I have determined the place where I will plant my pumpkins
I have prepared the soil, a little with a hoe and a little with this modified bike of mine.
I dug holes, and I make sure to water the hole first.
When the soil absorbs the water, I add the seedling to the hole and bury it.
I gathered as much hay as I had and placed it around the pumpkins
I should add more hay
But first I have to mow the grass :)
Soon there will be more hay to better protect the pumpkins
The first pumpkin that started to grow suffered from the drought and was separated from the heather,I gave it to the chickens to enjoy.
Bottom right corner of the image.
They are announcing another heat wave with temperatures up to 35 degrees Celsius.
I need to prepare as well as possible.
and protect the plants as much as possible.
Currently this weather is favorable for them, the leaves have turned yellow, new leaves have started and the pumpkins have started to bloom
The two pumpkins at the beginning of the garden have almost merged.
I hope they get strong enough before the next heat wave.
And that one pumpkin, which I thought had dried up in the last report, survived.
Green leaves are growing again, it is recovering.
The battle with dry weather continues, this time I need to prepare better.
This concludes my post today to continue supporting and sharing this wonderful 2025 Pumpkin Challenge, sponsored by @der-prophet and @hive-world-champ.
Thanks for reading.
Until next time.
Stay healthy.
