I had my usual morning walk at the yard yesterday. It's not all walk though because I am also taking my time looking around the yard. I took my sweet time for long time time that Lucy fell asleep waiting at me, haha. Yep, i'm with my usual companion on this walk which is our cats. ʕ º ᴥ ºʔ

There's Nikka too and she rest in between her exploration at the yard. She's also with Maya and Baste that time but I couldn't take a photo of them because they are too far from where we are. And they are playing, running around here and there. It's hard to take a photo of a wild running cat you know, haha. Such precious babies ಥ‿ಥ

I really love my walk this time in the yard and the garden because one of Mama's plants started to bloom flower. Its flowers is big and there's just one of it. It made me wonder if it can only bloom one flowers at once.

This Okra is like just one tree but can sprout 3 to 4 Okra at once. I don't know if it will bear more fruit, we will see maybe after a week. Right now there's only four of them, one of them is already an inch bigger while the others are really just a baby.

On the other hand the squash and bitter gourd is in bad shape right now. It's leaves drying up and it's not blooming any flowers much, just a few compare the squash we had on the backyard. This one is planted in a bad soil, I think that's the reason.
Now, this is what i'm most excited about. I saw Teves looking intently into somethinf and I can't help but to get nosy, haha. Sometimes they love to run after butterfly and dragonfly and I always stop them murdering them. They are just enjoying the plants we have so there's no need to kill no? Haha. Its really just hard to stop them at times especially with those moving creatures. The way they fly around is like they are provoking the cats (◡ ω ◡)

So anyway, I also saw that flying bug and so is Teves, he followed it while I watched him, curious as what's he gonna do with it. But then, when I see that he's getting ready to go hunt it, I immediately run to where is and there I saw it, this beautiful flying cutie, let's call him Rainbow.

I so love how colorful its wings and to be honest, I had the urge to pick it up. But I got scared because what if this dawg bite? Haha. I actually look it up on google to be sure and it is actually harmless, I saw a video as well where people holding it on their fingers, meaning they are safe to hold.

But even though it's safe, I didn't dare picking it up. As I see it Rainbow just wanted a place to rest and hide. Teves is still eyeing him, trying to get closer to rainbow but I keep on stopping him. Then I pick up some dried big leaves of bangkal and cover it ro Rainbow. He didn't mind. He hop on to the small rock and rest in there for a while.

I tried to remove again the cover at him to check if he's trying to get away but no, he is actually resting. He didn't fly away, he's like no care about the danger he might face. He's doing what he wants and just resting there comfortably. I fins it cute really, at the same time, I'm glad I am there to stop Teves because if not, who knows what might happen to him.
By the way Rainbow is what they call Birch Shieldbug, such a pretty name. With how wide it is, it really looks like it could be a shield especially that wings. This bug is like a tamed one, doesn't even budge when I get closer to it. Thanks to that I got a close shot of it's beautiful rainbow colored wings. \(o)/
