What is it like now?
Four months gone since our society wanted me to remove my pots from the garden as they wanted to make it a playground and build the other park as garden. They were in such hurry that, they wanted me to vacate the place immediately which I did, but it feels so frustrating to see nothing has happened since then.
People do not keep their commitment and that is the biggest problem I face in my life, because once I commit, I try to accomplish that before hand - I am a person of my words. I asked the society members about their plan and they still say, their plan has not changed, but hey, gardening season starts from this month end, and I don't like to regret later for not doing something that I should have done.
So before coming to my native I decided to bring out the Chrysanthemums mother plants that I preserved, about which I wrote in this post. As its raining heavily, they are not growing as expected in that corner, so I took it all myself, removed all those big sheets lying around and showed them sunshine which they need.
Look at that plant in the middle which I borrowed from Mom from my native. A single stem has grown to such a beautiful bunch with so many yellow flowers. Hopefully Chrysanthemums plants will grow better now and I can prepare some saplings from them in early August. And all good work has it rewards, and after a very long time, I discovered a precious gift from nature.
I never thought even in my wild imagination that these cute little sand mushrooms would come up in this part of the garden. If you have eaten them, then you know but those who don't know, these are the tastiest mushroom that are almost in verge of extinct in urban areas. I just shared one photo from above in my whatsapp status and there were many requests - please give us, where did you find them ? I had to keep quiet.....
Once I found them at one place, I could not control my curiosity to search over the entire garden and I was not disappointed.
They are super soft, so you have to take them out very carefully.
A hour of search and find operation yielded this much and I was so happy because kids had never tasted this.
It's a little bit of extra work to clean them nicely, but our generation knows how to do that. The lady prepared them well and when the kids tasted in the evening, they were amazed with the taste and asked can we grow them ?
Hey kids, there are some unique offerings from Nature, which you can never grow - stay close to Nature and you may get an opportunity to enjoy some niche items, which does not sell in market. And be thankful when you get them - she always deserves a wholehearted gratitude.
