Today we finally got the farm keys and were able to get in and leave some stuff. The place was much cleaner than it was when we visited it during the summer and in October, it looks even bigger although it has been raining a lot in the past weeks, there is no humidity nor leaks which is a good sign. We are going to leave some of the stuff we took from home as well as the things we left at our friends in October.
I was not expecting to see too many fruits but the orange, tangerine, and lemon trees look pretty nice and full of oranges, lemons, and tangerines. We plan to take some back home otherwise those fruits will die on the trees. As you can appreciate in the photos, it was a cold but beautiful day. The brightness of the sun mixed with the green grass, the colors of the trees, the fruit, and the smell was just incredible.
I tried an orange and a tangerine and both are sweet and taste amazingly good as you can imagine. It has been a while since I tried an orange picking it directly from the tree and of course, the taste is way much better than the ones you get from the grocery store.
Then I realized we had new friends, a crowd of sheep was pasturing on the property next door, and I could not help to take a couple of photos
When we locked the tiny house door, we decided to leave a big water bottle in front, locals do that to avoid dogs peeing in the door when they sneak in the property in while hunting. I hope it works and we can fix the surrounding gate during our next trip.
On Tuesday we will celebrate the purchase of the farm with the friends who offered us to camp in their property three months ago.
