The thing that poses a danger to the seedlings during this period is the mole cricket. The insect eats the roots of the seedlings and the seedlings start to dry out. Sometimes we use medicine for the mole cricket and sometimes we plant another seedling instead of the dried seedling.
Biber ve domates ekiminde öncelikle bir kanal kazmak lazım. Ardından kanal su ile doldurulur. Toprak suyu çektikten sonra küçük bir ağaç yardımı ile toprakta delik açılır. Delik açılan yere fide ekimi yapılır. Ekim işlemi bittikten sonra topraktaki neme göre kanal su ile tekrar doldurulabilir. Fideler bu dönemde suya çok ihtiyaç duyar. Fideler toprakla iyice bütünleşene dek üç günde bir su vermek gerekir. Bu dönemde fideler için tehlike arz eden şey danaburnu böceğidir. Böcek fidelerin kökünü yer ve fideler kurumaya başlar. Danaburnu böceği için bazen ilaç kullanırız bazen de kuruyan fidenin yerine bir başka fide ekeriz.
