Hello friends and members of the Draw A Day community
I am still going through to the submissions from our Prompt 1 and will make a post about it soon. I am also thinking about adding one or two runners up because there are a few beautiful entries. That is not a promise it all depends on the prize pool that I will gather for this post
For now here is a new prompt in our worldbuilding series, where we invite you to help shape the everyday life of the Forest Folk through your art. Whether you're a beginner or experienced artist, digital or traditional, this space is open for everyone to explore and share their imagination.
Theme: Tools and Inventions
What kind of tools do the Forest Folk use to get by in their daily life? What about the tiny handmade items they carry for luck or memory? This could be anything from acorn ladles, spider silk fishing nets, carved seed knives, woven bark baskets, or leaf-bound journals.
You can create one special object or show a whole collection whatever sparks your imagination. Think small, resourceful, and enchanted by nature.
How to Join:
- Create an original drawing or painting inspired by this prompt. Both digital and traditional art are welcome, and all skill levels are encouraged to participate.
- Post your entry in the Draw A Day community on Hive with the title: Forest Folk Worldbuilding Contest- Prompt 2: Tools and Inventions
- Include a short description of your artwork (what inspired the design, what it’s used for, who might carry it).
- Submit your entry before this post expires (7 days from the posting date).
Judging Criteria:
I will evaluate entries based on:
Creativity – How original and thoughtful are the tools or items you designed?
Detail – How clearly do the materials and function show through your artwork?
Artistry – The overall appeal of your piece, including layout, color, and concept.
Prize:
The winner will receive 2 HIVE Tokens as a reward and a special mention in the results post.
