Y es que la clienta que me escribió por esta torta en otras oportunidades le he realizado tortas, pero en estás ocasiones ella habÃa pedido tortas con colores fuertes y algo que le debemos dejar en claro a nuestros clientes es que las cremas con colores fuertes tienen a tener un sabor fuerte. Yo la mayorÃa de los pedidos los trabajo con merengue italiano y en una de las oportunidades que le realice tortas uno de los merengues quedó firme pero no súper firme y ellos habÃan tenido un pequeño accidente con la torta y por eso ella aclara en el mensaje que el merengue quede firme. Y la verdad es que acepte el pedido pero estaba muy nerviosa de que todo quedara bien y quedar bien con la clienta. Para ser sincera estaba muy nerviosa con este pedido.
The client who wrote to me about this cake I had made cakes for her on other occasions, but on these occasions she had asked for cakes with strong colors and something that we must make clear to our clients is that creams with strong colors tend to have a strong flavor. I work with Italian meringue in most of the orders and on one of the occasions that I made cakes for her, one of the meringues was firm but not super firm and they had a small accident with the cake and that is why she clarified in the message that the meringue should be firm. And the truth is that I accepted the order but I was very nervous that everything would turn out well and that I would please the client. To be honest, I was very nervous about this order.
Cabe destacar que este pedido fue de un dÃa para otro asà que me puse manos a la obra para hacerlo, el pedido era una torta de dos pisos, de vainilla rellena con arequipe. Lo bueno es que tenÃa todos los materiales ven casa y realice las tortas, las rellene y las lleve por unas cuantas horas a la nevera para que tengan mucho más firmeza a la hora de armar la torta.

La otra parte que me llevo bastante tiempo fueron los Toppers, pues ese dÃa de la entrega me levanté bastante temprano para ir al lugar donde los imprimo. Luego debo recortar la impresión y la coloco en una cartulina con brillantina y debo decir que quedaron hermosos, estuve bastante tiempo haciendo esto pero quedaron muy bien incluso una de mis primas pensó que los habÃa mandado a hacer. Por eso es que digo que las personas deben tener en cuenta todo lo que hacemos a la hora de hacer una torta no es simplemente mezclar ingredientes es mucho más que eso. Es cuidar cada detalle para darle lo mejor al cliente.
The other part that took me a long time was the toppers, because that day of delivery I got up pretty early to go to the place where they were printed. Then I had to cut out the print and put it on a piece of glitter cardstock and I have to say that they turned out beautiful. I spent a long time doing this but they turned out so well, even one of my cousins thought I had them made. That is why I say that people should keep in mind that everything we do when making a cake is not just mixing ingredients, it is much more than that. It is taking care of every detail to give the best to the client.
Comencé colocando soportes en la torta de abajo para poder colocar la torta de arriba y luego un palo de altura que atraviese las dos tortas para no tener accidentes a la hora de transportar la torta. Prepare el merengue italiano que decidà pintar de colores claros para no tener problemas a la hora de que se comieran el merengue y debà decir que los colores quedaron muy lindos.
I started by placing supports on the bottom cake so I could place the top cake on it and then a tall stick that would go through the two cakes so there wouldn't be any accidents when transporting the cake. I prepared the Italian meringue, which I decided to paint in light colors so there wouldn't be any problems when the meringue was eaten, and I must say that the colors turned out very pretty.
El merengue quedó bastante bien y bastante firme tal cual pidió la clienta, una vez colocado el merengue procedà a colocar los Toppers que eran bastantes pero que hicieron que la torta quedará realmente hermosa. Creo que para ser una torta que prepare de un dÃa para otro quedó muy bien. A parte que el merengue quedó súper bien, antes de colocar el merengue lo probé y tenÃa un buen sabor el colorante no cambio el sabor y quedó bien. Ya que tenÃa miedo de que la cliente no quedara feliz con el pedido, a penas termine la torta le envie la foto a la clienta y me dijo que habia quedado muy bonita. Nada como complacer a los clientes y hacer tortas hermosas.

Since I was afraid that the client would not be happy with the order, as soon as I finished the cake I sent the photo to the client and she told me that it had turned out very pretty. There is nothing like pleasing customers and making beautiful cakes.
