Hace casi 7 días que hice mi última publicación en #Hive.
Resulta, que mi computadora me dio una alerta sobre el disco duro y estuve parado sin escribir mientras le hacían el servicio, localizábamos la pieza, se la colocaban y, luego, volvíamos a adaptarlo todo.
¡Realmente no tenía un plan B efectivo!
Ese día del imprevisto, estaba escribiendo un artículo y tuve que editarlo en una mini laptop que es más lenta que los motores del gobierno para sacar al pueblo de la pobreza; pasaban años para que abriera una aplicación o una ventana.
En este mundo material todas las cosas se dañan y uno debe tener, siempre, un plan B, porque la creatividad no para y hay que aprovecharla.
Nos apegamos a la rutina. ¡Qué error!
En la medida en que estamos produciendo, ya sean ideas, un servicio o un producto, y lo vamos colocando en el mercado, siempre creemos que las cosas seguirán marchando bien.
Ya hemos hablado de que hay que evaluarse, evaluar todo, porque los emprendimientos tienen altas y bajas.
Que la apreciación del cliente puede cambiar, también los productos o servicios pueden pasar de moda o ser inútiles, aun en un determinado momento; que hay que estar actualizados y ser previsivos.
Sin embargo, ante dificultades de fallo en los proveedores, falta de ideas, daño en nuestras maquinarias o equipos, imposibilidades de que un cliente cumpla el plazo de pago en forma correcta, debemos tener un plan B.
Pero si algo no soporta un emprendimiento, es la parálisis; de allí que es bueno saber que existen los planes de contingencia que debemos mantener presentes por si algo falla.
La mini laptop no sirvió, pero había un disco duro cerca…
En mi país es difícil tener dos computadoras al servicio para reemplazar a la que se daña.
Tenemos apagones frecuentes, cambios de voltaje y dificultades para conseguir las piezas a un costo adecuado; por lo que, ante el daño del disco duro de mi computadora, mientras localizábamos uno nuevo a un precio accesible, se tuvo que colocar un disco duro que estaba guardado "por si acaso".
El asunto es que aprovechamos para hacerle servicio a la PC y revisar algunas aplicaciones que quería colocar y que no me había sido posible hacerlo por falta de tiempo.
Más, este imprevisto pudo haberme costado clientes, de no tener respaldo con alguna otra maquinaria para trabajar como plan alternativo.
Así que, además del disco duro de menos capacidad, de refuerzo, también tengo una laptop pequeña que me permite salir adelante, a veces, pero que, esta vez estaba más lenta que la llegada de ese "vendrán tiempos mejores" que nuestros abuielos decían...
También, yo respaldo todo en la nube y guardo en mi correo electrónico los archivos que necesito para seguir trabajando, tales como artículos, documentos y contenidos académicos que reviso para mis clientes.
¿Cómo sería un plan alternativo?
Bueno, que, ante tantas dificultades, imaginar la situación peor posible, es tener una gran imaginación, valga la redundancia.
Pero debemos aceptar los cambios y los desafíos que no prevemos como algo natural en el mundo material en el que vivimos.
Así que, al menos, podemos imaginar un mínimo de situaciones peor posibles y debemos tener siempre presente aceptar la situación; no quejarnos, porque al aceptar, inmediatamente buscamos la solución y nos adaptamos a los cambios.
El hecho de que nos anticipemos a las situaciones difíciles, como, por ejemplo, en nuestro país, las fallas de electricidad que van dañando las maquinarias, teniendo repuestos, es, no solo un plan B, sino también, un gran ejercicio de elaboración de planes de contingencia.
Debemos identificar los riesgos, el uso y el tiempo de las maquinarias.
Contar con el ahorro que tengamos a bien resguardar, que puede aportar soporte al capital y a enfrentar contingencias.
Igualmente, tener espacio y motivación para otros proveedores o clientes no tan fuertes, pero que pueden llegar a serlo.
No adivinamos, ¡pero estamos siempre alertas!
Y, por último, así como vamos anotando las ideas para no perder esas oportunidades y desarrollarlas luego, también debemos ir anotando los riesgos que vamos detectando, adaptados a la realidad que vivimos.
En los negocios, cuando no tenemos un plan que permita adaptarnos a las dificultades o circunstancias de la vida, generalmente tendemos a, desaparecer como empresa.
Es una dura verdad.
Aun con todo, llevo seis días sin que se lea una publicación mía; dando respuestas, pocas, a los comentarios por el teléfono, lo cual es superincómodo para mí, que es bueno para leer, más no para responder.
Y mi mayor temor, que es que dejen de leer contenido actualizado de mi blog, se hizo presente.

It's been almost 7 days since I made my last post on #Hive.
Turns out, my computer gave me a hard drive alert and I stood around without posting while they serviced it, located the part, put it in, and then retrofitted everything again.
I really didn't have an effective plan B!
That day of the unforeseen event, I was writing an article and had to edit it on a mini laptop that is slower than the government's engines to get people out of poverty; it would take ages for me to open an application or a window.
In this material world all things get damaged and one must always have a plan B, because creativity does not stop and one must take advantage of it.
We stick to the routine. What a mistake!
As long as we are producing ideas, whether they are ideas, a service or a product, and we are placing them in the market, we always believe that things will continue to go well.
We have already talked about the need to evaluate oneself, to evaluate everything, because enterprises have ups and downs.
That the customer's appreciation may change, that products or services may go out of fashion or become useless, even at a certain moment; that we must be updated and be foresighted.
However, when faced with difficulties such as failure of suppliers, lack of ideas, damage to our machinery or equipment, impossibility for a customer to meet the payment deadline in the right way, we must have a plan B.
But if there is one thing an enterprise cannot stand, it is paralysis; therefore, it is good to know that there are contingency plans that we must keep in mind in case something goes wrong.
The mini laptop did not work, but there was a hard drive nearby...
In my country it is difficult to have two computers in service to replace the one that is damaged.
We have frequent power outages, voltage changes and difficulties to get parts at an adequate cost; so, when my computer's hard disk was damaged, while we were looking for a new one at an affordable price, we had to put a hard disk that was stored "just in case".
The thing is that we took the opportunity to service the PC and check some applications that I wanted to install and that I had not been able to do it due to lack of time.
Moreover, this unforeseen event could have cost me clients, if I did not have backup with some other machinery to work as an alternative plan.
So, in addition to the hard disk of less capacity, as a backup, I also have a small laptop that allows me to get by, sometimes, but that, this time was slower than the arrival of that "better times will come" that our grandparents used to say...
Also, I back up everything in the cloud and save in my email the files I need to keep working, such as articles, papers and academic content that I review for my clients.
What would an alternative plan look like?
Well, that, in the face of so many difficulties, to imagine the worst possible situation is to have a great imagination, if you will excuse the redundancy.
But we must accept the changes and challenges that we do not foresee as something natural in the material world in which we live.
So, at least, we can imagine a minimum of worst possible situations and we must always keep in mind to accept the situation; not to complain, because by accepting, we immediately look for the solution and adapt to the changes.
The fact that we anticipate difficult situations, such as, for example, in our country, electricity failures that damage machinery, having spare parts, is not only a plan B, but also a great exercise in the development of contingency plans.
We must identify the risks, the use and time of the machinery.
To count on the savings that we have to safeguard, which can provide support to the capital and to face contingencies.
Likewise, to have space and motivation for other suppliers or clients that are not so strong, but that can become so.
We do not guess, but we are always alert!
And finally, just as we write down ideas so as not to miss those opportunities and develop them later, we must also write down the risks that we detect, adapted to the reality we live in.
In business, when we do not have a plan that allows us to adapt to the difficulties or circumstances of life, we generally tend to disappear as a company.
It is a hard truth.
Even with everything, I have been six days without a publication of mine being read; giving answers, few, to the comments by phone, which is super uncomfortable for me, who is good to read, but not to answer.
And my biggest fear, which is that you will stop reading updated content from my blog, was realized.
