Tener paciencia es una condición indispensable para cualquier emprendimiento.
Generalmente las cosas no se dan de una vez, tal como las hemos imaginado. No es que ponemos en práctica el negocio y ya aparecen los resultados que tenemos en mente.
Más bien suele ocurrir lo contrario, una vez que iniciamos van apareciendo contratiempos y situaciones que no estaban previstas en el plan original. Algo que por cierto es bastante normal, recordemos que por mucho que agucemos el intelecto y los sentidos siempre habrá algo que se nos escapa de las manos. El plan perfecto sencillamente no existe.
Por eso es importante andar sin apuros. Y si es el caso ir dando pocos pasos, los que sean necesarios hasta que nuestra idea se vaya consolidando.
Como ya les he comentado en oportunidades anteriores, me gusta fijarme de cómo evolucionan los distintos emprendimientos que aparecen por mi zona. La mayoría de ellos son propuestas a pequeña escala, pero que ilustran la manera en que las personas, generalmente de forma intuitiva porque no se han formado para emprender, encuentran la forma de resolver sus problemas.
Hace algún tiempo un joven comenzó a vender café en una de las paradas al final de la ruta del transporte colectivo de la zona, justo frente a un tecnológico que tiene cierta actividad.
Seguramente que al establecerse en ese sitio pensó que varias cosas estaban a su favor, no tenía competencia y los estudiantes del tecnológico podían constituir un mercado cautivo.
Estuvo en el sitio unos pocos meses y de pronto desapareció. Probablemente le pareció que el esfuerzo invertido no se correspondía con los ingresos que estaba generando.
Un buen día el mismo muchacho comenzó a ponerse en otra parada, ubicada en un sector de mayor tránsito de personas, por ser el sitio donde la gente entra y sale del sector donde viven.
En esta oportunidad solo tenía actividad a las primeras horas de la mañana, cuando todos salen a sus actividades diarias. Su labor la hacía cargando dos pequeños termos de café.
Luego de unos dos meses ocupó también el horario de la tarde, llegaba a golpe de cinco o seis, a la hora del regreso, y fue incorporando a la oferta del café la venta de algunas golosinas.
Con el correr del tiempo se dio cuenta que la hora de la tarde tenía mucho más potencial que la de la mañana. Algunas personas se quedaban hablando un rato antes de continuar hacia sus casas y otras, regresaban a esa esquina con la misma finalidad de entablar conversación con los que estuvieran allí.
El muchacho comenzó a darle cierto acondicionamiento al pequeño espacio, limpió la maleza, pintó parte del brocal y se esmeraba en barrer por lo menos dos veces al día los alrededores.
Una tarde se apareció con una carrucha donde llevaba una pequeña mesa desarmable, dos sombrillas gigantes, recipientes con jugos y cigarrillos y chucherías diversas. Había redimensionado completamente su puesto.
Al incorporar esa nueva oferta su clientela comenzó a crecer y no solo eso, sino que el sitio se ha convertido en un espacio de encuentro para los conversadores de todo tipo. No es raro que sean las nueve o diez de la noche y el muchacho continúe con su actividad a la luz de un bombillo recargable que cuelga de una de las sombrillas.
En la actualidad el horario de trabajo de este emprendedor tiene dos turnos. Llega antes de las seis de la mañana con los dos termos de café de toda la vida, a veces lleva algunas galletas que pueden servir para acompañar el café. A eso de las nueve y media de la mañana, cuando comienza a calentar el sol levanta el puesto, y regresa a golpe de cinco de la tarde hasta que los tertuliantes se retiren.
Este muchacho es uno de los tantos ejemplos de personas que han ido dando los pasos necesarios hasta dar con la idea que les resulte más beneficiosa. Para esto la paciencia siempre es buena compañera.

Surely, when he established himself in that place he thought that several things were in his favor, he had no competition and the students of the technology school could constitute a captive market.
He was at the site for a few months and then suddenly disappeared. It probably seemed to him that the effort invested did not correspond to the income he was generating.
One fine day, the same boy began to work at another stop, located in a sector with a higher traffic of people, since it was the place where people entered and left the area where they lived.
This time he was only active in the early hours of the morning, when everyone goes out to their daily activities. He did his work carrying two small thermoses of coffee.
After about two months he also occupied the afternoon hours, arriving at five or six o'clock, at the time of his return, and was incorporating to the coffee offer the sale of some sweets.
As time went by, he realized that the afternoon hours had much more potential than the morning hours. Some people would stay there talking for a while before continuing on to their homes, and others would return to that corner with the same purpose of engaging in conversation with those who were there.

One afternoon he showed up with a cart carrying a small disassembled table, two giant umbrellas, containers with juices and cigarettes and various knick-knacks. He had completely resized his stall.
By incorporating this new offer his clientele began to grow and not only that, but the place has become a meeting place for conversationalists of all kinds. It is not unusual for it to be nine or ten o'clock at night and the boy continues his activity by the light of a rechargeable bulb hanging from one of the umbrellas.
At present, this entrepreneur's work schedule has two shifts. He arrives before six o'clock in the morning with his two thermoses of coffee, sometimes carrying a few cookies that can be used to accompany the coffee. At about half past nine in the morning, when the sun begins to warm up, he leaves the stand and returns at five o'clock in the afternoon, until the coffee drinkers leave.
This boy is one of the many examples of people who have taken the necessary steps to find the idea that is most beneficial to them. Patience is always a good companion.
