This is where many tries to shy away from, not really because they don’t have what it takes in the actual sense but they believe or feel that they don’t have the capacity, this mind set have really frustrated a lots of young entrepreneurs and many lives, the truth be told, no one is ever full of himself to be sufficient but the unique nature and creativity is in your inside and until you begin to believe in your self, the best of you will never show up.
What is Self-Sufficiency
This is an ability of one being able to develop and maintain yourself without possibly seeking for any external aid to keep you going, the extreme confidence in your ability to provide yourself with basic needs.
I know that many people will have personal opinion on this but i do believe that if you journey with me first it will convince you in a long run.
Maximizing yourself-sufficiency takes much of deliberate effort in capacity building, you will have to upgrade yourself to the current stature, to be in the same pace with the demands of the time, so in an attempt to do that, you will have to practically engage the following subjects.
Identify the problem and solve them:
Your ability to identify problem is a plus, it is already one of the most interesting and productive tools to engage as an entrepreneur, being able to see and identify what others can not see, then when you are able to profound solution to those problems, its a great and amazing value to have, and to maintain, in life people are rewarded by their problem solving ability, the more problems you can solve the more your reward.
Become master of languages
This is very important, as far as your field is concerned, there are language and vocabularies' that will lunch you into the big stage, if you do not understand their languages you will be ejected out of the space. Every market has a language and you have to master you market language. This is very important because words are first thought, when you think, you create, when you create, the images is formed in the mind. your ability to master your market language will effectively help you to recognize the opportunities that many others will not easily see.
Move from talent to skills.
I want to start by saying that i was a victim of this, i knew that i was gifted, so i had to celebrate it so much that i almost forgot that there is much more and that the market place needs much more than talent.
Talent are gifts but skills needs much more deliberate and consistence practicum for effective result, every talent needs to be developed upon, for the gift to be effective, when you have mastered your talent it can be expressed in many dimensions.
Become a middleman
This is really critical in the journey of an entrepreneur in building self-sufficiency, I have many young people like me, say, i don't have the financial capital, that is why i can not start up my business, beloved i must at this point tell you that you don't need that heavy capital to start that business, i personally began with connecting people to my boss, by so doing i was getting commission. I went to people that owned the product for marketing, negotiated with them on my percentage gain, then get them to the buyers, as i make sells i collect my commission.
This is simply intermediating or serving as agent between two persons or parties and in our context, a dealer, you are in between the producer and the retailers to the final consumers or company intermediate between the producer of goods and the retailer or consumer, as you engage this you are building confidence.
Build your network intentionally
Building network is not a subject to be played under Capet, In my place there is a saying that goes that you dont know every body but you need to know somebody that knows someone who knows another, when you bring this persons together you have successfully brought tertiaries together.
Relationship capital is as important as you, so will need to build a network of people intentionally. for me i dont allow ant opportunity to pass me by, I do not know who i will meet but when i meet them i already know the kind of people i desire to go along with. you must be intentional.

Es la capacidad de uno de desarrollarse y mantenerse a sí mismo sin buscar ninguna ayuda externa para seguir adelante, la confianza extrema en su capacidad de proveerse de las necesidades básicas.
Sé que mucha gente tendrá una opinión personal sobre esto, pero creo que si viajas conmigo primero te convencerá a largo plazo.
Maximizar la autosuficiencia requiere un gran esfuerzo deliberado en la construcción de capacidades, tendrás que actualizarte a la estatura actual, para estar en el mismo ritmo con las demandas de la época, así que en un intento de hacerlo, tendrás que involucrarte prácticamente en los siguientes temas.
Identificar el problema y resolverlo:
Tu capacidad de identificar el problema es un plus, ya es una de las herramientas más interesantes y productivas para comprometerse como emprendedor, ser capaz de ver e identificar lo que otros no pueden ver, entonces cuando eres capaz de la solución profunda de esos problemas, es un gran y sorprendente valor a tener, y mantener, en la vida las personas son recompensadas por su capacidad de resolución de problemas, cuantos más problemas puedas resolver más tu recompensa.
Conviértete en un maestro de los idiomas
Esto es muy importante, en lo que se refiere a tu campo, hay lenguajes y vocabularios' que te almorzarán en el gran escenario, si no entiendes sus lenguajes serás expulsado del espacio. Cada mercado tiene un lenguaje y tú tienes que dominar el tuyo. Esto es muy importante porque las palabras son el primer pensamiento, cuando piensas, creas, cuando creas, las imágenes se forman en la mente. tu capacidad de dominar tu lenguaje de mercado te ayudará efectivamente a reconocer las oportunidades que muchos otros no verán fácilmente.

Pasar del talento a las habilidades.
Quiero empezar diciendo que yo fui una víctima de esto, sabía que tenía un talento, así que tuve que celebrarlo tanto que casi olvidé que hay mucho más y que el mercado necesita mucho más que talento.
El talento es un don, pero las habilidades necesitan una práctica mucho más deliberada y consistente para un resultado efectivo, cada talento necesita ser desarrollado para que el don sea efectivo, cuando has dominado tu talento puede ser expresado en muchas dimensiones.
Conviértete en un intermediario
Esto es realmente crítico en el viaje de un empresario en la construcción de la autosuficiencia, tengo muchos jóvenes como yo, dicen, no tengo el capital financiero, es por eso que no puedo poner en marcha mi negocio, amado debo en este punto decirte que no necesitas ese capital pesado para iniciar ese negocio, yo personalmente empecé con la conexión de las personas a mi jefe, al hacerlo yo estaba recibiendo comisión.
