Antes de empezar debo presentar mi emprendimiento de un solo hombre, este se llama .M16uel Joyas, me dedico a la creación de joyería inspirada a simbologías de distintas culturas, ahora mismo con mayor interés en la temática Wicca y al hacer piezas personalizadas.

LO FAMILIAR

Lo primero que puedo comentar es que al iniciarme hace casi 20 años en el mundo de la joyería y desde hace más de 15 años como una forma de ganar dinero, es en parte gracias al impulso de mi madre que me financio las formaciones, materiales, herramientas, etc; El poder practicar o aprender joyería es complicado porque algunas herramientas y materiales son algo costosos, más en un país como Venezuela que ha pasado tantas crisis, por último ella me dio también la primera plataforma de venta y reparaciones bajo pedido gracias a su pequeña joyería, eso mientras yo agarraba confianza y hacia mi propio camino.

Otro dato que recuerdo es que hace un poco menos de 15 años que me sentía presionado y la duda me atormentaba, ya que estaba dependiendo de las ventas al mayor y margen de ganancias era terriblemente bajo, a veces no me pagaban cuando correspondía o en alguna parte del proceso de fundición se atrasaban, por lo que mi situación económica era muy irregular, además mi hija estaba de la edad de 6 meses, ustedes saben, los pañales, que si se enfermó, que hace falta esto o aquello, ahora me da risa, pero eso vivirlo puede ser muy agobiante para un padre primerizo, evidentemente pensaba no podía cumplir con todo.

Entonces un día que compartía con mi bebe en una fiesta, mientras todos esos pensamientos negativos fluían dentro mi, buscando una respuesta, sobre si dejaba la joyería o seguía, justo siento que mi bebé me aprieta el dedo y me ve con cara de querer consolarme y dice gracias papá, como diciendo que siga y confíe, consolándome, por lo que seguí haciendo piezas, empezó a fluir lo de MercadoLibre y tuvimos una época relativamente estable.

Gracias a las piezas que fabricó e podido dedicarle tiempo a mi hija, acompañarle y ayudarla en algunas cosas, incluso cuando ella venía a casa a visitar, se montaba sobre mí a ayudarme en el taller, son recuerdos muy lindos o cuchí, como ella martillando o conmigo agarrando el soplete... Hoy en dia ella está en una escuela de arte aquí en Caracas llamada Cristóbal Rojas y me dijo en estos días que se iba por las artes del fuego, solo que a ella le gusta más la cerámica, ya veremos que depara el futuro.

Creo que la decisión motivada por mi hija cuando era bebe, con esa pequeña acción, ha sido buena, porque me ha permitido desarrollar habilidades únicas, que quizás trabajando en una empresa, en un entorno con compañeros o bajo el temor, por no perder un sueldo no hubiese desarrollado, sobre todo para mí que en aquella época no era tan bueno socializando, mis habilidades sociales eran algo limitadas...

Ya comente lo que tiene que ver con algunos detalles poderosos en lo familiar, pero también hay que destacar la interacción con clientes y compañeros artesanos, todo resumido porque si no este post no lo termino.

Lo primero es que cuando empece a vender por Mercadolibre, ufff, eso hace un montón de tiempo, digamos hace 12 años, he obtenido clientes que aún conservo algunos, que les encanta lo que hago y hasta el día de hoy me siguen, de vez en cuando compran, o se desaparecen para años después escribirme que me compraron una pieza y que aún la conservan, esto me paso en estos días en una conversación de Facebook.

De esta generación de clientes, algunos me hicieron evolucionar en mi trabajo, con sus pedidos, aunque yo algunas cosas no sabía cómo resolverlas, ellos me daban ánimo y confianza para que lo lograra, fueron tiempos maravillosos de los que aún hoy quedan frutos.

En cuanto al mundo de las ferias o al exponer en espacios públicos, hay personas que se quedan admirando mi trabajo, como enamorados y les ves una alegría que surge de su interior, que se expresa en una sutil sonrisa o en una conversación entretenida, el año pasado una señora se quedó viendo mi mesa, las piezas, así como lo acabo de describir, da dos pasos para irse, se regresa y me dice, Corazón eres demasiado lindo, té lo tenía que decir, ya estoy demasiado adulta y la vida es una sola... (algo así me dijo) y su hija allí, avergonzada, mientras yo me quede con la boca abierta...

Hay personas que atiendo y les da a veces por entender un doble sentido en lo que digo, esto parece que les hace feliz, fíjate, no les puedo decir: ¡mete el dedo aquí (en el anillo)!, porque se lo agarran para otro lado...

Otras cosas que me encanta es que los niños se alborotan cuando ven algo que conectan con ellos y es lo mismo si se los compran, esa energía de felicidad es suprema. También cuando unas parejas o grupos de amigos me visitan o se paran en mi puesto, compran y allí mismo hacen el regalo.

En fin me hace feliz y sentirme querido, saber que tengo una cantidad de gente que me adora y le fascina lo que hago, incluso después de años de no saber de ellos.

También me he integrado a comunidades de artesanos y grupos como estos en Hive como lo son las comunidades de Jewelry y Holus&Lotus, que ayudan y me hacen sentir que uno no está solo, con los artesanos he desarrollado amistades, amores, vivencias locas, viajes.... (Imagínatelo)....

En conclusión, muchas veces vemos el emprendimiento desde el punto de vista económico, pero más allá de eso, debemos ver que hay mucho de la parte emotiva, el amor de la familia, pareja, las expresiones de amor de los clientes hacia ti y lo que haces, el cómo tú con tu trabajo le das una satisfacción y lo haces más feliz.

The first thing I can comment on is that when I started almost 20 years ago in the world of jewelry and for more than 15 years as a way to earn money, it is partly thanks to the encouragement of my mother who financed the training, materials, tools etc. Being able to practice or learn jewelry is complicated because some tools and materials are somewhat expensive, especially in a country like Venezuela that has gone through so many crises, finally she also gave me the first platform for sales and repairs on request thanks to her small jewelry store, that while I gained confidence and made my own way.

Another fact that I remember is that a little less than 15 years ago I felt pressured and doubt tormented me, since I was depending on wholesale sales and the profit margin was terribly low, sometimes they did not pay me when it was due or in some part of the casting process was delayed, so my economic situation was very irregular, also my daughter was 6 months old, you know, diapers, if she got sick, she needed this or that, now she gives me Laugh, but living through that can be very overwhelming for a new parent, obviously I thought I couldn't do everything.

Then one day that I was sharing with my baby at a party, while all those negative thoughts flowed inside me, looking for an answer, about whether to leave the jewelry store or continue, I just feel that my baby squeezes my finger and looks at me with the face of wanting to comfort me. and he says thank you dad, as if to say to continue and trust, consoling me, for which I continued making pieces, the MercadoLibre thing began to flow and we had a relatively stable period.

Thanks to the pieces she made and I was able to dedicate time to my daughter, accompany her and help her with some things, even when she came home to visit, she would climb on top of me to help me in the workshop, they are very nice or cuchí memories, like her hammering or with me holding the torch... Today she is in an art school here in Caracas called Cristóbal Rojas and she told me these days that she was going for the arts of fire, only she likes ceramics more, since We'll see what the future holds.

I think that the decision motivated by my daughter when she was a baby, with that small action, has been good, because it has allowed me to develop unique skills, perhaps working in a company, in an environment with colleagues or under fear, for not losing a Salary would not have developed, especially for me who at that time was not so good at socializing, my social skills were somewhat limited...

I already commented on what has to do with some powerful details in the family, but we must also highlight the interaction with clients and fellow artisans, all summarized because if not, I won't finish this post.

The first thing is that when I started selling through Mercadolibre, ufff, that was a long time ago, let's say 12 years ago, I got clients that I still have, some of whom love what I do and follow me from time to time to this day. from time to time they buy, or they disappear for years later to write to me that they bought me a piece and that they still have it, this happened to me these days in a Facebook conversation.

Of this generation of clients, some made me evolve in my work, with their requests, although I did not know how to solve some things, they gave me encouragement and confidence to achieve it, they were wonderful times that still bear fruit today.

As for the world of fairs or when exhibiting in public spaces, there are people who stay admiring my work, like lovers and you see a joy that arises from within, which is expressed in a subtle smile or in an entertaining conversation, the Last year a lady stared at my table, the pieces, just as I have just described, she takes two steps to leave, turns back and tells me, Sweetheart, you are too cute, I had to say it, I am already too adult and life she's only one... (she told me something like that) and her daughter there, embarrassed, while I was left with my mouth open...

There are people I attend to and sometimes they understand a double meaning in what I say, this seems to make them happy, look, I can't tell them: stick your finger here (in the ring)!, because they grab it to other side...

Other things that I love is that children get excited when they see something that connects with them and it's the same if they buy it, that energy of happiness is supreme. Also when couples or groups of friends visit me or stop at my stall, they buy and give the gift right there.

In short, it makes me happy and feel loved, knowing that I have a number of people who adore me and are fascinated by what I do, even after years of not hearing from them.

I have also joined communities of artisans and groups like these in Hive, such as the Jewelry and Holus&Lotus communities, which help and make me feel that one is not alone, with the artisans I have developed friendships, loves, crazy experiences, trips. ... (Imagine it)....

In conclusion, many times we see entrepreneurship from an economic point of view, but beyond that, we must see that there is a lot of the emotional part, the love of the family, partner, the expressions of love of the clients towards you and what what you do, how you give him satisfaction with your work and make him happier.
