Here's my entry for ASEAN Hive Community Challenge 163, which is entitled Tour of the Bedroom.
The bedroom is one of the most important spaces in everyone's house. For me, it's like a serene sanctuary. It's a private room, which is not intended for sleeping only in the literal sense of a bedroom's meaning or purpose. It is also a personal space for privacy, where we can relax, de-stress, calm ourselves, and a place where we can rejuvenate mentally and physically. However, nowadays a bedroom can be used as a working place too, like a personal office space, especially for those home-based workers.
So now I'll give you a tour of my family's very simple and small bedrooms.
First stop in my bedroom, or just a small master or couple's bedroom. This is what my bedroom looks like; it has a small space and limited room for furniture.
But still, it has some cabinets and drawers and some side tables. I also have a small altar where I can talk to God privately through heartfelt prayers.
There's a tiny extension bed beside our own bed, and it's Arashi's bed where he sleeps at night.
This is how it looks during the day. I just keep Arashi's foam under our bed because he doesn't want to sleep there during the day. He prefers to sleep on the floor with just a blanket bedded on.
And this is how it looks at night. He comfortably sleeps here with the air conditioner on and a small ceiling fan near him. He really loves a cool temperature just like me...😊
My daughter @tegoshei loves to stay or relax here too. When she hangs out with us in our room, she loves to sit or lie down in Arashi's bed. And sometimes it's our playing area with Arashi too. We love how Arashi can always be a mess in our bedroom, too.
Every time I clean our room, he will mess it up by playing with the pillows, but still, it makes me happy, and I enjoy his gesture in doing so.
And it's lovely to see him stretching every time he comes out of his bed. He's soooo cute..🥰
Well enough for my room, and now let's go to Max's sanctuary.
Max always loves to stay outside during the day, so hubby made a bed for him to stay and relax during the day.
Here's Max, he just finished his shower this time, so he is still wet but looks so fresh. He has his own electric fan here as well. But every time after lunch, he will stay inside the store with my hubby and sleep there, and sometimes in my daughter's bedroom.
At night, this is Max's space for sleeping, and he loves it here too, although he won't sleep on the couch. We also can't give him something for bedding because he bites and eats it. He might just be comfortable lying on the floor, as he was with his previous owner.
Our last stop is in my daughter @tegoshei's bedroom. As I mentioned earlier, the bedroom can also serve as a working space, like Shei's bedroom. It is her sleeping sanctuary, and at the same time, her small office.
That's why we utilized this small room by creating a bed for her, allowing her still to have a space for work and other things.

So, this is her office under her bed. One part is where she works, and the other half is her small art studio where she usually draws or paints.
Then, going up to her bed, she has stairs that also double as her bookshelves, where she stores her books, magazines, and anime figurines. She also has stuff on the actual stairs.
This is her bed… and she also has a little nook where she puts some notebooks, sketchbooks, and other things.
The walls in her room are also utilized. On one side, she made an art wall and on the other, she hangs her bags and caps.
She also has her stationary bicycle inside her room, so during her break from work, she can exercise. She also has her own altar and a dresser, which she rarely uses.
That ends our bedroom tour for today, and I hope you enjoyed the tour of our small and simple bedrooms.
