August 4th β‘οΈ August 11th, 2025Β Β Β Most of us ASEAN Hivers are of the age that we are either in school or old enough that we have kids in school, and of course some us even have grandkids in school. This week's challenge is a simple one, with the main goal being to get snapshots of school days, whether your own or someone else's. Your snapshots can be your commute to and from school, the classroom interior, a tour of the school, or even just some after school selfies while still in uniform, up to you as long as you're creative.
Β Β Β Homework, school buses, feel free to share any part of the school day with us. Even university, vocational training and adult education are all fair game for this challenge. Apologies for not having a challenge last week, life has just been too hectic and I got too far behind with my duties. I do look forward to this challenge and hope I can participate should I be lucky enough to find more free time in my days.

Hello, how are you? This week's challenge caught my eye, and I've been thinking if I have any spicy food on my file draft to share, and then I remembered I made chili garlic oil, and I wanted to share how I made it. We love chili garlic, so buying from the grocery store is not enough, and it is expensive, and that time chilis are hella cheap, so it is our time to stock up on chili garlic oil.

Here in the Philippines, K-dramas and K-Pop have made Korean culture a huge hit. Korean Marts have popped up everywhere because of Korean Wave, and a lot of us have become super curious about Korean food. My sister is always the one who craves food just by how it looks, and she kept telling me she wanted to try Samyang Buldak Carbonara. Watching K-dramas also made me really curious to try some Korean food myself.

Are you into spicy foods? I'm not a big fan but I rarely eat some of it. My husband loves to eat spicy food even though he punished his self by putting the chili into his penis! After he sliced the chili he pee and forgot that his hands are really spicy! You already knew that my son could catch shrimps using his hands. My husband's favorite recipe when it comes to shrimps, is with ketchup or Sweet and Spicy shrimp.
