This time, I'm back in this community to share some images of Bireuen, my hometown.
There, I took some pictures of the iconic Simpang Empat intersection, which boasts a unique and interesting design, making it one of the city's most popular landmarks.
Then, I headed to the city's famous grand mosque.
This mosque boasts magnificent and beautiful architecture, with intricate details and elegant decorations. I was amazed by its beauty and grandeur, and I'm sure it's a must-see if you're in Bireuen.
Because this mosque is a famous iconic symbol of the city.

The Simpang Empat Monument in Bireuen City is one of the most iconic and unique buildings, with its striking design and distinctive shape. This monument has become an easily recognizable symbol of the city.

This monument is located in Bireuen, Aceh.
It is one of the city's most important buildings.
A little bit about its history.
This monument was built to commemorate the heroes who died fighting against the Dutch during World War II. The most famous battles in my area were the Krueng Panjo and Pandrah Wars.
This monument symbolizes the fighting spirit and courage of the people of Bireuen in defending Indonesian independence.
Then I continued my journey to the next iconic building in the city of Bireuen, namely the great mosque.
The Grand Mosque of Bireuen is an important religious icon in my hometown, located in the heart of the city.

This mosque is a destination for local residents to perform voluntary and obligatory worship. It also distributes donations, alms, qurban (sacrificial offerings), and zakat (alms).
This mosque also hosts grand meetings and other important events.
Therefore, this mosque is also known as a famous icon in my city.
