Am I lucky to wake up to this view every day?
Yes! I am blessed. The weather here in my country is warm and sometimes humid, but fortunately, I live in this place surrounded by trees and greenery. It fills me with warmth, wonder, or even a quiet sense of contentment.
Do you see this as therapy for your eyes? For me, they are therapy for my eyes. Look at the sun shine through the vibrant green leaves of the trees. It's beautiful. It's special.
I can hear birds and chicks chirping, and at night, especially if it has rained, the frogs and crickets make a lot of noise. It sounds soothing to us, but it's also kind of hilarious or eerie.
Our home is located just one ride away from the city center. Very near big malls and supermarkets, but it's a bit secluded, and the road isn't paved yet since it's still a private road. So, no vehicles come and go on the road.
He sometimes mows the grass around and even includes the neighbors' front lawn. He voluntarily does that.
We played here a lot when we were young.
That hut is our hangout spot. There's a small room upstairs, kind of like an attic, where you can sleep. Downstairs, it's open, with a bench on the side. It used to look really beautiful back in the day.
My father's caretaker, who looked after his gamefowl for cockfighting, also slept there. In the past, this place was surrounded by rooster houses for sabong (cockfighting)
We started by snapping some pictures in the back of the house, making sure to bring our foldable chair along. The weather that day was lovely; I really enjoyed the refreshing breeze.
You can clearly see that the soil is wet and soft because it rains here every afternoon. Though it's meant to be summer, the rain just keeps coming! grrr... Even with summer already behind us, the ground still hasn’t dried up, which means we haven't had the chance to relax on the hammock again.
Chicks follow their mamas.
We have lots of plants around, but I just took some photos of these flowers that I find pretty.
Here’s a picture of us with our bed sheets swaying gently as a backdrop. We always hang our freshly washed laundry in the warm sunshine. It dries beautifully and smells amazing every time!
Greetings from my fur love. I love to look at their warm smiles.
This papaya tree has thrived despite growing right next to the post that supports the roof at the front of the house.
The papaya fruits aren't ripe yet. I'll wait around for a few weeks. It's safe to eat papaya year-round because it is one of the naturally grown trees that produces fruit without chemicals and is low-maintenance.
As a working from home, it's tiring and boring to just sit for hours in front of my computer. So I always get out and take a break.
In our city, where the weather is quite warm, staying hydrated and protecting myself from the heat is important. Drinking plenty of water, eating fresh fruits and vegetables, and finding time for relaxation can all help maintain good health. It's very helpful.
That's all. Thank you for reading.
