For me, Orange is a reddish-yellow, a bright, happy color. It represents a charming and fresh appearance.
Yesterday was Easter Sunday and my niece's 6th birthday. We celebrated it with the family at the beach, but the focus on today's blog is the orange things I have found during the celebration. I spotted some orange things, from clothes, fruits, to just anything.
There were a lot of dishes prepared by my sister.
One of people's favorite dishes is garlic fried shrimp. This is a closer look at the cooked garlic shrimp. Look at the shrimp, it's covered in spices. It's mouth-watering. I couldn't resist eating this. I dipped it in a vinegar with onion slices and chili. It is so delicious and tasty.
This is my batchmate's kid wearing an orange swimsuit. He and the kids stand in line and are ready for egg hunting.
This cute paw print on my cousin's jacket is so cute. It caught my attention and I took a photo.
Oh! This orange gummy bear I found on the sweets corner table. When I was young, I liked to eat this sweet sugar-coated gelatin bear. But I only ate one yesterday. I am not attracted to sugary food anymore.
This orange fruit or tangerine is one of my favorites. Good thing there are fruits in the "handa" because I prefer to eat sweets from natural fruits. You can see that the blurred background is my niece's birthday cakes. They are off limits for me. haha
At night, the color of the dark sky combined with the sun setting is spectacular. It makes a red-orange color. What a beauty.
Because we had an overnight stay, of course, we had to take this handy gas burner to cook and reheat the food. It's convenient and so helpful.
Waking up this Monday morning, I saw Mom's floral orange pouch. I grabbed it and took a selfie. She placed her necessary things inside this to-go pouch.
I am so in love with the beach. Again, as I have mentioned, I would go there every week. I could just relax and recharge myself for another long week of work. Am I talikodgenic?
Me on the swing wearing an orange tube for this week's Orange Thang challenge.
My sister's lotion is papaya orange. tadaaa...
The orange kayak is under the terrace.
This is my nephew on the outrigger of the boat. The boat's life jackets are orange.
Inside the Higala Inn, where we stayed in the corner, is a vase with orange flower prints, and inside it are green and orange leaves. It looks like leaves in Autumn, but they are actually fake leaves.
Royal Tru-Orange is one of the drinks at the party. A story about this orange drink when I was young is that my mom let me drink this together with an egg to ease my fever. Maybe it worked!
Going home, I took a photo of my daughter's shirt back coz there is a 07 orange colored print.
This newly constructed building on the corner of our street is painted with orange squares.
And just before going inside the house, here is another iconic orange tricycle parked outside. This is the oldest mode of transportation in the city. The owner made a DIY wooden cover so that no one would idly sit or make a mess with his vehicle.
Everything was a coincidence orange except for my tube top, which I intended to wear for this week's challenge.
As it was Easter, we are happy to remember that Jesus has risen on Easter Sunday. We give all the glory to Him for allowing and giving us the chance and opportunity to gather together with my sister's husband's side of the family and ours. The families are quite big on both sides. Siblings, children, and grandchildren in total are present, except for a few.
We enjoyed Easter at the same time, happily celebrated Sovy Kanny's 6th birthday. It was a marvelous family gathering.
Thank you for swinging by my blog.
