I remember reading a quote that says, "Happiness comes from good Shawarma." And I guess I could not agree more. Recently, I have been a fan of it and even considered it my comfort food. So, every time we go out, we always find a restaurant or stall that sells Shawarma. My partner even loved it too!
Weeks ago, we went to the coastal beach to unwind and relax. We wanted to spend some quality time together and also to see good scenery. We decided to go to the beach and watch the sunset. To make the day more perfect, we decided to grab some Shawarma as our food.
We saw the stall "Shawarma Nation" just across the coastal road. We stopped and checked their menu, and that is when we decided to buy our shawarma there, even though there were a lot of other stalls around.
We came over to their spot, and the staff assisted us. They asked which one we were getting. Based on their menu, they have choices of Small to Large Shawarma, Shawarma Rice, and Shawarma Salad. And each of the choices looks delicious. I already had an answer in mind, so I only asked my partner what he was getting. Luckily, he also wanted the Large Shawarma with Extra Cheese.
Upon seeing their stall, my cravings grew even more as I could see the cheese and the meat and got to smell the aroma. Hmmm, I definitely said in my mind, "Yummy!" when they started preparing our order.
It only took them a few minutes to prepare and wrap. We also watched them do it, and we could hear our tummy growl while doing so. I knew that our long wait was over when one of the staff asked if we wanted some hot sauce. My partner is not fond of spicy foods, so he turned down the offer. But as for me, I said yes. I told them to leave a mark on the spicy one.
Then, finally! Our orders are served. We went straight to the spot we chose to sit at and enjoyed our food. I have not captured photos from that moment since we enjoyed every bite of the shawarma. It was perfect. The meat is tender, and the sauce is very tasty!
