One of my most iconic walk is sure to be the one at my home town, wd call it Padang Ipoh. Ipoh is the name of the town and padang means field. I'm not going to give you a heavy lecture or historical walk through, as this is a photo diarrhoea session. We don't usually experience anything below 25'C at the beginning of the year, so my morning walk during the "TET" for Vietnam, and our Chinese new year. I can't help the beautiful mornig scene slightly lower temperature, even the sky looks different. So here we go.
The field is properly lite up from 7pm until 7am.
On the first day of Chinese New Year, you can see my car is the only one arrived at 6:30am.
The cubical building with a lited up top floor is Cititel. One of these day I'd like to enjoy a staycation there with the family.
The white wall colonial designed building wss erected there for several reason. To used as an icon to represent the colonial status we once were, to used as projector screen, and public toilet... That cost hundreds of billion on construction cost.
The plague for the field. I would like to use this to participate Shadow Hunter contest, but u haven't got a proper story for it yet.
I tried to do a wide angle shot, but the lens seems to not working with me. It has been like this since the phone had a fall.
More shadow hunter material. This with double shadow selfie as there's different source of lights radiating through different corners.
State mosque is just around the corner. If you can understand Arabic, you may like to enjoy their early morning chants.
I like the setting of solar powered lights along the jogging track.
As in every city of all Asian countries, plastic wastes are one of the biggest headache for all of our city municipals.
Around 7am when the sky started to turn golden.
I wish the phone can capture more depth of the color when doing wide angle sweep. I hope the shades on the sky can impress you.
Turning 7 o clock in the morning, spotlights are turned off.
I heard @justinparke once shared, any countries situated near the equatorial has the same amount of day time against night equally divided. Our dividing time is always 8. 8am suddenly become very bright. 8pm suddenly become very dark. Funny eh.
Oh by the way, rhe hundred million dollar toilet is not opened for public. They put temporary toilet outside of the public toilet, so the occupants can use the temporary toilet instead.
There are a lot more to explore around this area, and only if i have the time to make a proper post, otherwise i will have more photo diarrhoea without explanation.
