Greetings everyone, Today is Sunday. A time to relax and have fun together with our family, friends or relatives. For today's blog of mine, I would like to share the fascinating place I went today and this is the place of Upper Malubog located in Manticao, Misamis Oriental. This is very far from Barangay Poblacion and all we can see here are big mountain, root crops, cliffs, Coconut trees and many more. From Barangay Poblacion, it needs to take a travel for a few hours using motorcycle. Well, we can many beautiful place and that is what I found out during my travel escapade. The place I went is my Grandfather's place. I am very excited to visit his place again and see the relaxing place gift by the Nature.
Because it is very hot sunny day, we decided to rest for a while in the waitingshed located in the Place. It is very good to have this structure in the place so that people can rest here for a while or shade when there is rain. It is only near at the Barangay road that is why it is very simple for us to park the motorcycle. There are lots of unique houses built in the place and it contains an electricity already. The last time I visited this place, there was still no electricity, Im very surprised and amazed about it. The road is near at the cliff and it is curve that is why there are lots of traffic signs represents that the place or roads contains a curvy areas. This will help so that riders will not be accident and it can avoided the unpleasant situations happens.
Even the place is very slope, still there are many coconut trees planted in the place. Will this is very easy to gather coconuts in one place because it will only rolled down from the slope of the mountain going down the hill. Many different kinds of trees and plants can be seen here. People don't want to cut the trees down because for them, it will help to prevent the place from being eroded due to heavy rains will happens. The sky contains a portion of white clouds but there is no predictions that it will going to rain in no time.
At My Grandfather's Farm place:
Finally we arrived at may Grandfather's farmland, The place is very beautiful and perfect for a place to lived in. The mountain as you can see is the place of Sitio Danao and Barangay Toud. That majestic mountain is the boundary place between the places in Manticao. There are lots of big mountains we can see here in Manticao but this is the largest and biggest mountain in the town.
We tried to ask my Grandfather to went on the dragon fruit farm but He disagreed us to go there. Actually most of the primary source of income here are copra making, selling bananas, fire woods, Charcoals, raising animals just like cows, chickens, goats, pigs and carabaos. Coconuts can be everywhere in the place . I really enjoyed watching and exploring the place and there is no wonder why many people loves to lived in this kind of place. This really a perfect place to live, very quite and peaceful areas.
This place was a large fish pond but as I noticed and seen now, the pond is already dried maybe because of the extremely heat. Heat is one of farmers problem because without rain, their crops and plants will die. The pond full of fish that day was turn into an empty place. I was very sad about the place I seen, but I guess it will be back when there will be rains.
I really love to explore this kind of beautiful and relaxing place, We are very lucky and thankful to have this areas. With this, we can plant more root crops, valuable plants and raising more animals. This will help us especially to my Grandparents to have income and sustain their needs.
