Hello Hivers! It me again.👋 I wish everybody well!
It's already the middle of the week and it seems class the opening of classes is fast approaching.. Vacation is almost over here in the Philippines and days from now, classes start soon. It's been 2 years after COVID-19 struck the whole world and affected the economy and our daily lives. The formal opening of classes here in the Philippines is supposedly in the month of June, but due to the pandemic it moved to September and then July last year. This time we are excited to begin it in June.
Loving the idea of uninterrupted vacation for teachers, that I almost forgot that I have to go visit the medical laboratory to have my health checked. We have our annual health check before the start of the class. This is to ensure that teachers are fit and it's good thing also so we know what things or food to prevent to make us ill.
So I went straight to the laboratory and undergo Urinalysis Test and Xray. Good thing is there was just a few people that time. Normally on days like these, medical laboratories are packed of teachers getting health checked. The result is due next week, so I thought I was already late.. But I heard from other teachers that the laboratory is full in the morning..
We do have free check up actually in the hospital but I chose to be here in this facility due to monkey pox scare.. As much as possible I have to avoid being in the crowd. What if I caught it? I fear for my family because it is contagious...But thankfully, we have zero case here in my hometown..Every perspective really change when you become a Mom!There's so many things you need to look out to and take into consideration because you have kids who rely on you.
The laboratory is also spotlessly clean. And that is one thing I really like about it. The comfort room smells like a hotel room.
I hate going to medical laboratories as a matter of fact. In the past years, I always have to repeat the process. I often have bacteria in my urine due to excessive drinking of soda, eating sweets and other unhealthy food. My School Head would often call me and said, "Teacher, where's your medical result? I need it now?" Oh sorry Ma'am I have to repeat the process. And the doctor gave me this medication.. And I hate taking it.. I could barely swallow it! But i have no choice! And this is due to my stubbornness..Now I learned my lesson well. I make sure I eat healthy food before getting checked.. HAHAHA!
Thankfully the result came out normal. Reaching at this age, we really are cautious about our health now. I seldom eat sweets and drink soda and starting to live a healthy lifestyle..
Anyway, this is all for my blog today and hope to share with you more of my stories and experiences.
See yah!!!
