Since Christmas is coming soon, I took the opportunity to take my daughter to fill her happiness at Makro Trang branch, which is now decorated beautifully to match the festival. My daughter was very excited to see the Christmas tree and various Christmas tree decorations, decorated endlessly, and many cute toys lined up on the shelves. While we were shopping, my daughter pointed to various gifts, breads, and cookies lined up, so I let my daughter choose one box.
After being amazed by the Christmas atmosphere in the toy zone, I walked into the fruit and vegetable zone, which is a favorite zone for many people, especially my wife. This zone has many fresh fruits. When my daughter saw the fresh strawberries lined up on the shelves, she ran over and excitedly asked me that the strawberries were so big but so expensive. So I explained to her that big strawberries like this are sweet and delicious but quite expensive. She nodded in understanding and told me that she would save up her own money to buy them next time.
Then her eyes glanced at various types of mangoes that were placed nearby, so she asked me if there were any Nam Dok Mai mangoes. I shook my head slightly and said that today there were only large, sweet Kaew Khamin mangoes, which were also sour and sweet. However, my daughter especially liked Nam Dok Mai mangoes, so she made a slightly sad face. In the end, my daughter decided to buy oranges instead because they were her favorite fruit and easy to find. I chose to fix them together, but she was so excited to be able to fix them herself. After she had chosen, she smiled broadly with joy.
After choosing some fruits, we walked into the herb zone, which had a completely different atmosphere from the others. The aroma of various herbs hit our noses from the first step we took, making us feel refreshed and relaxed. In this zone, there were many herbs to choose from, including garlic, onions, eggs, and various curry pastes. I chose garlic and black pepper to cook, while my daughter was struck by the bright green dried seaweed, so she chose to buy a pack of seaweed.
While I was shopping, my daughter picked up a quail egg with interest. So I explained to her that we already have both chicken and duck eggs at home. Chicken and duck eggs are equally beneficial to the body and we can eat chicken and duck eggs often. However, quail eggs can be eaten only occasionally because they are quite expensive. When my daughter heard this, she nodded in understanding. She put the quail egg back in its original place.
My family also arrived at the meat zone, which is another zone that many people are particularly interested in because it is a source of many important ingredients for cooking. This zone has a variety of fresh and frozen meats to choose from, including beef, pork, chicken, and fish. I decided to buy 4 pork hips to take to my relatives. Then I went to choose chicken hips and bought 2-3 more frozen foods. This zone has breakfast items like bacon, hot dogs, and cheese, which my daughter really likes. Before going to the cashier, I bought some rice, which is at the counter on the way, and some bread. It's time to go home.
