When it comes to good health, one food item that is common across all diets plan is to include sprouts. Be it weight gain, or weight loss, sprouts have considered to be one food for all need. Healthy eating has always been considered to be boon for our health. This is where sprouts plays a major role. Sprouts is one of the easiest food item to be included in our daily diet. Sprouts are made naturally, it is generally the spores that germinate from the seeds. I saw my mother making some at home. The most common sprouts among Indians are moong sprouts or chana (gram) sprouts.

Motherly way to make sprouts.
Weekly my mother make some Sprouts, and give us in our breakfast. The way she made seems to be out of the box.
- Soak the Gram or Moong in water for a day.
- Take out the seeds and rinse water properly.
- then keep the rinsed seeds in a piece of cloth for day.
- sprinkle some water, on it every 10-12 hrs to keep it wet. It allow proper germination.
- the sprouts is ready to eat in 48 hrs.
As these are full of nutrients, it fulfill all the body requirement. However to get the additional body strength from sprouts add little quantity of lemon juice, ginger pieces, black pepper powder and little salt to these sprouted grams or moong beans. Consuming these mixture everyday in breakfast will give ample amount of additional energy, which keeps us going whole day.

Do make sure to keep a check on the quantity intake of these sprouts, as consuming them in large quantity will results in some side effects like stomach disorder or indigestion.
