It's been a long time since I last had corned beef, canned goods like this is really not good for us so we avoid them as much as possible and only have it when we really crave for it. And today's one of the day that I can't fight this cravings. I've been craving for it actually since the other day and I want this for lunch today. Mommy D is selling my favorite brand of Corned Beef which is Argentina so I just bought one in her store.
I actually want to mix Potato in it but then I am too lazy to go outside so I just Sauteed it with garlic and onions, I also pour some pepper in it to give it a good kick. And when I cook corned beef in a can, I don't put any seasonings in it anymore and just a small Pinch of just small. I am planning to drain it so I didn't put in it. If I Put more it will come it really salty and I don't want that.
And cooking time! I didn't put much oil in it because this corn beef has lots of oil already. So I just put enough to cook the onions and garlic. There's a lot of onions in it as you can see, I put the large ones in it because why not no?
And here's about everything I throw in it. Salt, water and lots of pepper. If I ever bite one of those pepper, I'll surely breath fire. Lol
After a minute and after seeing no water in it I kill the stove and ready our steamed white rice. Oh how I miss this! (✿‿)
Seriously though, I can have this if I want to but i'm just stopping myself because I choose to live with a healthier lifestyle now. And one thing I must avoid to make that happen is a canned goods or any processed foods. And I always make sure to eat veggies everyday. I feel like without that, I always experience indigestion so vegetable must always be present in every meal. But today's a cheat day again \(o)/. And it's been a long time anyways. Ehe
And coz today's another cheat day, I should make the most out of it yeah?


We have lots of overripe banana from Mommy D's nephew and so she decides to make a banana fritters. She's the one who prepare the mixture and i'm the one that fry it. It has flour which I think is also not good for someone with sinus. But it is still a littke healthier no because of the banana? Probably (^∇^)ノ♪! We love this as a snack!


This mixture has flour,baking powder, egg, sugar, powdered milk and the bananas that was smashed until it becomes liquid. If i'm the one who prepares this, theres a big chance that I may fail making the mixture. Lol. But this one is just right and perfect.


Next is frying it. We'll need lots of cooking oil for that. Doing this can be hard on the start especially if the mixture stick to the pan. But for that not to happen, you should make sure that the pan and oil is really hot before frying it.


And here's the first batch. Looks really good just how we want it. And its a bit airy like a donut, then has that crispy side on the edge which make it more perfect. We enjoy it as afternoon snack and I love how Mommy D made it not that sweet. Just with the right sweetness in it.
