Today I wanted to share a thought along with my last visit to the Indus River which is one of the longest rivers in the world the distance it covers is 3180 km passing from the Tibet mountains to the Glaciers of Northern areas of Pakistan which are popular for its beauty to the southern part of the country called Sindh where it ends towards its final destination the Arabian Sea. For centuries this river has been of great importance to the local community for its economic reasons as well as for their survival. You will find hundreds of different communities through the distance it covers and I believe there are many more stories that this river knows than many of us.
Nature and human life
Similarly, I believe that like this river we also have some stories or some experience that always remains in our minds. So the day we come to this world our story starts till the day we die. During our lives, we go through different phases of life from childhood to teenager and from adult to old age. We all experience different events and perceive them differently and that is what makes us unique in this world of around 7 billion people. I think today we are going through very interesting times because we are technologically advanced from any civilization in the past yet we forget how to make peace with our minds. No matter what gadgets we have today or how rich we are in this world but we are always seeking peace and in the end, you can find peace when you come closer to mother nature. This is the reason I always take time to spend time closer to nature and at places such as rivers, gardens, mountains, the sea, etc.
Technology and humans
Today we have developed the quantum computer the fastest computer in the world yet we find people committing suicide because they cannot find peace of mind. I think one of the most affecting things is the gadget we use today our mobile phones I have seen people using their mobile phones for more than 7 hours a day and that ultimately affects not only their brain but also their relationship with their immediate family and friends. These gadgets are not going to get disappear in the near future but they will increase with time as recently Facebook announced that they are going to launch a Metaverse which is a virtual community where you can just interact with people who are far away from you and experience as they are with you which I believe will completely damage the people who are near to us i.e. our family members and friends.
What can be done to improve our mental health?
I think it is our responsibility to use these technological innovations for our benefit and not overuse them so they become a curse. We need to leave our gadgets off and try to look and meet people who are there in real not on the virtual screen and I am pretty sure that you will be amazed to see that these people are more interesting than the people on virtual screens. I think we have forgotten to communicate with our family members and do you really remember when was the last time you had a good physical chat with your father or mother or your best friend? we need to find our lost treasure and also try to spend time close to nature. Find the public park which is in your neighborhood go to that park walk around and experience its beauty experience how beautiful this world is created and appreciate nature.
By following these footsteps I visited the Indus river which gives me immense peace of mind and I took some photographs to share with you too so that you can also appreciate its beauty.

Captured a beautiful sunset which refreshed my soul and by looking at the sun a thought came into my mind that no matter how worried you are always remember that there is always a sunrise after the sunset so all your worries can ultimately go away and turn into a happy moment too.
